Viwed a Ford KA advertised on the web at £2999. Arranged a test drive the following day vehicle on the forecourt marked up at £2999. My daughter liked the car and we placed a £100 deposit. The following day after a number of phone calls trying to speak to the salesman we made an offer on the car as we'd decided not to do a part ex. We were then told the total cost of the car was £3149 as there was a £150 admin charge as stated on their website. I've searched and searched for this and there's no mention of it. Thankfully we decided to go elsewhere and had a cracking deal at Steve Rowlands carsales in Ferndale.

Rubbish customer service
Bought a car years ago from Pinetreecar in Bridgend and all I can remember is that the experience was awful! The car I bought didn’t have a parcel shelf and the mirror above the passenger seat was broken. I was told that both issues would be fixed before picking the car up but when I went to get the car I was told that the items were on back order. Took the car that day and chased about the items but never got a clear response. Every time I called someone different would deal with the issue so there wasn’t even consistency in who I was talking to! The issues never got resolved and I eventually had to except it since the car was mine but I’ll never buy another car from them!

Catalogue of errors.
Within 1 month of buying the car (in full, April 2019) from the Tonypandy branch the sensor on the accelerator went. Then at the end of January the Turbo went. Designated garage I was towed to said it would take at least two weeks before it would be looked at and then due to the problem they basically stated they wouldn’t bother touching it. I had the car towed to my usual garage and after a mighty fight with the RAC (which I paid a years cover) they finally decided to cover the cost. The new turbo was fitted then the gasket went and now something else has gone on it. I have been without a car for nearly two months.

Went to Tonypandy to look at cars I had viewed online. Was greeted by Kevin and he couldn't have been more helpful. Pointed out some scratches on bonnet and had them dealt with by the time of picking car up. Only negative is that the car was on empty when driving away. Maybe you could think about putting a quarter tank for new owners!

Went to the Cardiff branch on Wednesday looking for a first car for my daughter but the salesman was about as helpful as a chocolate tea cup ,contacted Pinetree by email on Thursday night to find out if I could get discount for cash and no part ex and told someone would contact me on Friday morning waited till lunchtime still no call , phoned Cardiff branch to ask the same question and told no that's it . It's a shame really that poor customer service can spoil any buying experience .

Disabled Lady Buys Car
Went out Saturday to get Yorkshire Tea Bags, I hadn't planned on coming home with a new Car. Steve, and to be fair, the whole team were superb, Polite and Curtis and very accommodating and helpful. I have been considering a new car for some time. I happened to be passing and dropped in more out of curiosity. I was greeted by Steve, he treated me impeccably and considering I'm disabled, he made every effort to accommodate my needs. He offered to bring the cars to me as opposed to me having to wander around the site due to its size and quantity of vehicles to on show. There are a few small changes I would make to the wonderful facility they have that would provide a more inclusive experience for disabled people, for example, a better ram arrangement into the buildings but overall a great set up. I would be willing to advise, what minor changes are needed and the finer points of assisting People with the Purple Pound. The moral of the story if you want a good car with a great service go to Pinetree Car Sales, but be careful if you need Yorkshire Tea.

We bought a car there last week
We bought a car there last week. I have taken the car for it first valet (as it wasn’t as clean I thought it would of been) only to find that when removing the mat there is a massive hole in the drivers side(footwell) that was covered when buying the car with paper , we have gone there today to show the problem the attitude and after care from the two men who were sat in the office was absolutely disgusting rob (one of the sales men) then said if the valeting team or one of us had seen this hole all we would of done is super glued the mat to the carpet they then went on to offer us mats to cover this hole instead of fixing this issue
