Useless company

Useless company, offer stock for sale that they don’t actually have, then don’t give you a refund despite several emails promising to do so. Now it sounds like they’ve gone into liquidation. Thanks for ripping everyone off guys!

Shop elsewhere

Ordered a vanity unit on 8th August. Credit card charged, order confirmation email received, but no delivery information. On 11th August sent follow up email requesting delivery date confirmation. No reply. 13th August, saw several trust pilot reviews placed in past 24 hours indicating similar problems experienced by others, also suggesting bathroom planet may have gone into liquidation. Phone line also appears to be disconnected. Have now requested order cancellation and refund. Strongly suspect I’ll be placing a section 75 claim to my credit card provider after 15 days. Website should be taken down if company is no longer a going concern

Is Bathroom Planet going bust?

Yes - I’ve had it confirmed today that Bathroom Planet has gone into liquidation. That explains the total lack of response. Something has gone drastically wrong at Bathroom Planet. It worked well for me 6 months ago, but now I have faulty goods and there is no reply on phone, chat or email. The phone number has gone to the message of “you have dialled a wrong number” today.

If there were 0 stars I’d give them that!!! Awful service. Originally ordered and told id have an email within a few days to confirm delivery. No email so o contacted them over a week later. I was told them goods weren’t in stock but they’d chase them. As I wasn’t in a rush for them I decided to wait. Contacted them again almost 6 weeks after the original purchase to request a refund as fed up waiting but couldn’t get a reply via telephone, email or online chat. Now have no goods and have had to put in a claim via our credit card company: Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!!!!!!!

Trying to get a reply from Bathroom Planet

Rare for me to write a review but am using this way to try and get Bathroom Planet to respond to me. Have left multiple emails and phone messages with no reply as I try to get a delivery date for my order placed back in March. Don’t waste your time phoning them as they just have a voicemail- after dozens of calls, I have never once been able to speak to a real person. My order was only partially delivered resulting in me needing to reschedule my fitter 4 times now. Bathroom planet have now adopted a strategy of ignoring my messages rather than giving me glib promises that are never fulfilled. Bathroom Planet - please respond !

Avoid - no response from customer service on broken and defective product

I bought 2 toilet pans, 1 bath tub, i shower tray and a bath filler and waste and paid up front a few months in advance. Two weeks after the original delivery date, I have a broken toilet pan and a defective toilet pan and customer service has not responded to my emails or calls at all. Update: I eventually received an email response that they were in liquidation and my case would be looked into by the appointed liquidator but 2 years on I have not received any contact but interestingly their website is appears to be still live. Here are the catalog of issues with my order in chronological order. 1. Items that did arrive, everything arrived damaged (defective, scratched, dented) but I only requested replacements where the damage was significant/ impairs function and not cosmetic. 2. Item that did not arrive - had to follow up daily to work out why it wasn’t on the delivery list and took almost a week to let me know it would be out of stock with a 2-3 week lead time. I called the day before delivery to check if everything would be in delivered on time and they confirmed everything is in stock. I called because they didn’t respond to my email asking for confirmation that the delivery will happen, no email notification or despatch notifications. Almost a week later I have to urgently source an alternative product (extra time to research and find a product, extra cost to get it for next day delivery as the builder needed it. 3. Phone contact number goes straight to voicemail which tells you to email. 4. Defective products received - 6 toilet pans later (scratched, cracked 9inch across the front, ones with different branding, rejects parts unglazed / with bumps and indentations. These arrived without any packaging, missing fittings. I’m all for less packaging, but none at all makes me suspicious as the matching basins from a different retailer arrived with packaging and in good condition. 5. No response on email and unable to get through on the phone when there is a problem. I sent photos of the 9-inch crack, wrong brand & defective pan I received on Tuesday with my number to call me back, it is now Friday and I haven’t heard back from them at all. This is 2 weeks after original delivery date, I have received 3 batches of toilet pans that have arrived either damaged or quality rejects. The latest batch, the damage is a 9-inch crack across the front of the bowl and different branding (also slightly different height and shape) and the other finish is so poor that there are lumps and wonky lines on the vitreous china. I still do not have toilet pans that are fit for purpose. I have emailed and called, I sent photos to bathroom planet and they have not bothered to reply, apologise or provide a solution or replacement that actually is fit for purpose. Their absolutely lack of response to the broken pan (the crack arrived already grey with dirt indicating that the crack was there and not during delivery and the delivery note stated that a manager/ supervisor should inspect because it is replacement) I had to reach out directly to ideal standard who are issuing the replacements under the warranty. They also agree that the poor quality one should not have left the factory in that condition. I never have to deal with them again but… 6. One week after saying they would issue a refund on the item that was out of stock, no refund yet. Would I recommend? HELL NO! i can accept that receiving damaged and defective goods can happen, customer service completely ignoring you when there is a problem is the real reason I am leaving this feedback to warn other potential customers avoid.

Will not use again

Good service with providing the product. But very poor after care. Tried to swap a product because of a genuine mistake but it was after the 14 day returns period. However the product was unopened and we were looking to purchase a different one off you. The only respone i got off the team was very blunt and didn’t even try to help us with this issue or sort the correct one out. Very poor service
