The fitters arrived as expected ,they were friendly and efficient ,also they had to alter the waste run from the new washing machine ; but no problem . After testing to see if all ok they cleaned up and left Well done

We had a problem with Fridge freezer which had become unreliable a year after its warranty ran out. I phoned intending to make a replacement purchase. Instead of immediately selling me a new one I was put in touch with an independent service engineer Aqualectric who after hearing the symptoms told me it was irreparable and suggested a new appliance, without taking a fee. I returned to Dacombes and bought a new fridge freezer which was delivered, doors rehung and fitted at my convenience. The service was faultless.

I chose this Company as I envisaged there might well be problems with the fitting of an integrated fridge freezer . So it was ! I waited for the particular model to come back into stock only to find that upon delivery the fitters did not have the requisite hinges. The new staff member has now been told to query the type of hinges with all customers . It was therefore agreed that the delivery men would undertake the job the following day. The Bosch fridge freezer was then successfully fitted . The young man did suggest that 60 /40 ratio might have been preferable to 70 / 30 - albeit the original model was 70 / 30 and this was recommended by my plumber . Upon the fixing I was asked to pay £30 for the five hinges . This I paid reluctantly as the original price had included a standard charge for fitting with no mention of extra for the hinges . Upon inspection I also noticed that the fitter had not placed the hinges over the holes left by the original appliance . I have queried this with him and still await a reply . So although I found all the staff to be personable I am not happy with the final result ; I have been inconvenienced only to pay over the odds for a job that could have been completed to a higher standard .

My freezer stopped working at 3pm. Dacombes delivered a new one to my house at 5pm. What is not to love about that service? They are just fabulous.

They provided very useful advice which helped us reach what we think is the right decision. They had the items in stock, and arranged installation within a few days. The installers made a very good job of adjusting the cabinet to take the new oven.
