I am a Director of Cedar House, Northampton (CHNL). In 2017 we appointed Encore Estates to manage Cedar House, a 39 Apartment Develpment in Upton, Northampton. We appointed them as we needed a professional experienced Management Agent to handle many problems and issues which existed due the previous Managing Agent. Encore Estates approached all of these problems with determination, commitment and professionalism which meant that these problems and issues were successfully managed. They kept Owners/Tenants fully informed of the problems and proposed solutions which helped hugely as prior to Encore Estates involvement with the Facility there was massive distrust by most Owners/Tenants. Encore introduced excellent communications which resulted in a transparent administration and management system.

I have no complaints about the service I receive from Encore who have managed the building I live in for more than 5 years. We are lucky to have a responsive team looking after us and we to have had to deal with cladding issues. They have been really on the ball with everything.

Generally poor.
The 2020 fire risk assessment was judged to be 'unacceptable'. No evidence from encore that remedial actions have been taken. Additionally, a reinstatement survey should be completed every 5 years to ensure levels of insurance are adequate. The last survey was done in 2015. A real lack of responsibility and accountability with regards to keeping residents safe or informed with the key issues linked to the estate. The estate manager is extremely poor at responding to concerns and seems to have little knowledge of the estate she manages.

Fantastic concierge at The General
I recently finished my one-year lease at The General and wanted to give a shout out to the wonderful concierge team there, particularly the Head Concierge, Daniel. Daniel was always there to help with any issues or queries, or lend a hand. No request was too difficult, and he was always professional. It is rare to come across such a genuinely lovely and giving individual such as Daniel, and my partner and I both really felt that he brought so much value to our experience while living at The General. We hope he is recognised for his outstanding work and dedication, he really is an incredible asset to Encore. Thanks Dan!
