Setting the Allica savings account up required the intervention of Allica's Customer Services team and I groaned when I thought I'd be holding for ages and then not make any progress. Not at all. Very quickly resolved and I was able to make my deposit. My only disappointment, (and it is a disappointment), is that interest doesn't accrue monthly, or maybe it does, but it isn't shown until the anniversary of the account being opened. So when you open the app, all you see is what you have paid in. Maybe this is good for a business savings account?

I recently opened an account with Alicia, but couldn't complete the initial login with the one time password. My Allica contact, Hope Laws, noticed I hadn't started using the account and offered to call me to sort out any problems. She suggested using the Allica App with a new one time password, which worked fine. She then guided me through the rest of the set up process to make sure everything was as it should be. I am very pleased with the service provided.

Even with a charity with 10 trustees (that are hard to get hold of) we got the account set up nice and easy. Louisa was a pleasure to work with throughout the process and everybody knew what was expected.

Account closed for no real reason. Been given so called 60 days notice but the account was instantly turned off. Direct Debits fail and incoming transfers bounce. This is not a 60 days notice, this is a pretend notice. Financial Ombudsman will hear about it.

I recently opened this account primarily for the high biz savings rate with the potential to transfer biz account altogether. Set up was straight forward and opened within a week. Had excellent comms from Lauren (Customer Success Executive) throughout

The customer service I have received has been excellent. Hope has been extremely helpful and easy to contact. She suggested the streamlining of a process and followed it through from start to finish. I would highly recommend Allica Bank.

I am an accountant looking after lots of small businesses. Allica bank is able to help lots of these businesses because there is someone at the end of the phone who can help. The account application is simple and fast. My account manager is super helpful. The App is easy to use and the interest rates are rewarding.

I have given 3 stars for now just because we havent been using it yet. I just want to know to get that 4%+ interest rate do I need to keep money in the current account default tab or move them to another subaccount/pot to make it work? And if there is no £50000 cpnstantly in that account are the interests still paid or not? Thanks.

Found this bank offering high interest rate on both instant acsess and fixed term They were easy to set up and the app is good, I had a query as I wanted multiple accounts to show on my one Phone APP so I emailed them within the hour I had a very helpful reply and it was sorted. It's great to be able to communicate with your bank would highly recommend giving them a try.
