AVOID the Appliance Group at ALL costs

I never do this, but felt compelled to try and help others avoid this company. I paid for my item in early Jan and was promised a mid Feb delivery date. I thought that was a little odd as it seemed a long time, but the price was right, so okay. Mid Feb comes and goes. I have to chase them. Its been delayed to early March, so I tell them I'm not happy about having to chase them for an update (with no apology) but I've waited this long. Early March comes and goes and no update. I'm getting fed up by this stage its been 3 months and this is the 2nd time they've let me down and Ive had to chase them. This time they don't even try to fulfil the order just tell me they will issue a refund, but there will be a delay on that as well! As I write this its the 2th of March and another 10 days will pass before I get my money back. No apology, no attempt to rectify the deal with an alternative or any offer of compensation. By the time i get my money back it will be 4 months and my firm view is this is a complete scam to take money off people, keep it for as long as they can and make money off it banking on the fact no one will blow them up, Seriously AVOID this company.

These positive reviews coming through…

These positive reviews coming through are the biggest pile of **** I’ve ever read. Avoid this company if you wish to save yourself time and money. Every single negative review is all Saying the same. As for “ all retailers have delays” bull! I got my fridge freezer next day delivery from curry’s pc world after waiting what seems forever for a refund from these bunch of cowboys!

Avoid like the plague

Avoid like the plague Ordered my appliance on 13th December, waited until the end of January and they still could not provide a delivery date. Lets give them the benefit of the doubt it was Covid or EU to blame. It is now 2 months since I cancelled the order and I am still waiting for a refund. First I was told they were having issues with payment system so they would need to refund to my bank, still waiting. Don't think you can blame EU or COvid for that one just poor customer service.

With everything going on in the world

With everything going on in the world, there was a slight delay on my fridge freezer. The staff were incredibly helpful and kept me informed. I have ordered from several companies and these delays have been across the board. The fridge arrived and I am extremely happy with the quality and great value for price.

Poor customer experience

Poor customer experience Poor customer experience. Were told they were out of stock after order on 3-Dec-20, then told item no longer available on 23-Feb-21. Asked for our money back o 26-Feb. Still not refunded 24-Mar. We have put matters in hands of credit card company. They seem like a right den of thieves - Appliance Group real company name is Dexters Holdings Limited - although my card was debited by Power EC Ltd who have renamed themselves twice from Empire EC ltd and from Empire Direct Ltd. 7 directors have resigned since 2020 and there is a new director. Look them up on Companies House and follow the trail

Don't give these people your money....

Omg what a company just give people their money back terrible. You may be struggling but so is every one else. You should not take money till you have the goods. I have no freezer and this is needed for my work I've no funds to buy another. Please refund my money. Yes l was told of the change of date when l emailed you. It was originally mid March when l orderd it in February.It should not take days or weeks to refund people simple. You now have the details hope l can share good news when l get my refund.... still no refund ??? 24 hrs was told. Still no refund after being told last would get it last night.

Poor customer service, slow refunds, goods not available/delayed production

Poor customer service, ordered a chest freezer 12th Feb expected delivery was Mid March, Emailed 11th March and was assured they would be available and out for delivery from 15th March, 16th March I emailed again and was informed that they wouldn’t be available until 19th April (another 5 weeks) requested to cancel on the 16th and here we are working day number 12 and no refund yet, have provided my bank details as requested due to them being unable to process refunds and would refund to bank account, every time I email I get automated response that refunds will be processed in 5 working days and no further emails. It’s a shame as the price was brilliant just wish the company had been honest from the start and would refund straight away when requested. I requested a refund after reading reviews online and I got a funny feeling that come the 19th April they’ll be delayed again by another 4-5 weeks so I could of been waiting till this time next year! Now being told 10 working days although that has exceeded already but again misleading as emails state 5 working days, i didn’t make them wait for payment when I ordered it. Update still no refund...despite numbers of phone calls! Waiting over 3 weeks for a refund
