Excellent experience with True Traveller - I took out a policy for a 3 month backpacking trip. I had to make 2 claims, both of which were very well handled and paid out in full. Every time I spoke to someone there, they were very helpful and understanding. Highly recommend!

I just had my first experience making a medialna claim with True Traveller, uncomplicated process, just had to e-mail filled in form with all receipts, and after few days I received a positive response.

Slightly (unnecessarily) complex forms, though quick and efficient handling of claim.

Refusing to pay. I recently lost my coat and wallet. My policy has cash and personal belongings coverage, including GBP250 for lost drivers licence. They are refusing to pay out on my lost cash and drivers licence. All of these things are covered by my policy and have evidence. They are a typical scam artist insurance company finding any excuse to try and not pay out on your claim. They do reply quickly though. Do not bother with them. I used Insure and go for a trip earlier in the year. They were unbelievable slow, but did pay out the full amount of my damaged camera claim.

The website is complete and accurate. It's easy to contract an insurance on True Traveller. I made an insurance claim and the my request has been aceepted very quickly and the claim has been paid. I was very satisfied. Very professional !

Really amazing when I had a claim very early on into my trip. Supported me the whole way, ensuring I was seen by doctors and got what I needed. When I sadly had to come home they were very good at organising everything for me so I didn't have to worry. Overall, I was really impressed and would take out a policy with them again in the future.
