Really impressed. Had to have my wisdom teeth out while in South Africa. Didn’t notify True Traveller beforehand,sent off the claim less than 48 hours ago and within a few hours had an email asking for pictures of the receipts and now the money is in my bank account. Really happy with the service. Would recommend and use again

The best travel insurance I have used so far in 10 years of traveling the world! There is no waiting time when calling the assistance number. I was even connected with assistant in my own country and was able to speak in my native language - fantastic for Czechs who don't have great English! After submitting all the supporting documents for the medical claim, I received an immediate response and within a few days I had the reimbursement in my account! The best travel insurance! Dont look elsewhere!

I’m currently travelling south America for 6 months, I had checked multiple different insurances and true traveller was the one with the best reviews in terms of claims. And I can now understand why. I had to go to the dentist for an emergency in Argentina. Within 24 hours of submitting the claim I’d received acknowledge of receipt and a message to say it had been approved. A few days later I was reimbursed for everything including Perscription. I did find the form a bit awkward to fill out on phone and has to use a laptop but I’d prefer an awkward claim form then claim processing turn around time

Extremely efficient claims process. I booked a backpacking True Value insurance package and I needed to claim for a monkey bite in Thailand for rabies vaccinations. The communication between myself and the company was so quick and efficient, they respond very quick despite the time difference. The claims service was very easy and I got my money back into my account the same day of putting through my claim. It’s worth spending the little bit extra on this company, you don’t think about the 50 quid extra spent when you’re in a Thai hospital! Couldn’t recommend enough!

True Traveller has been an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. My husband and I went trekking in Nepal last month, unfortunately, both of us ended up in hospital. One call to True Traveller and they took care of everything, the process was very easy, no hassle at all, which meant that we could focus on getting better. Thank you very much to the whole team! Was struggling to find insurance for my son running an ultramarathon through the Amazon rainforest until I contacted True Traveller. They were incredibly helpful and obliging, even confirming in writing that he was covered for such a specialised event. Having been turned down by several other companies I will definitely go back to True Traveller in future. They also covered him for Everest Base Camp.
