Never had to use my policy but have to say I received weekly and monthly emails with helpful updates. Highly recommend if you’re travelling overseas.

Used true traveller for several years now but haven't actually had to claim, but experience in buying their policy so far was quick and easy!

I needed to take out insurance whilst already abroad, as my flight home was cancelled and I was unable to contact my existing insurer to extend. Online purchase was easy, and the no-claims period, at 48 hours from purchase, is shorter than the other post-departure insurer I found (72 hours). Still, the proof of the pudding comes if you need to make a claim. Hopefully, I won't find out!

Have used them several times for year long trips abroad, they are easy to use, have reasonable rates for pre-existing medical conditions and a great range of sport add ons! I injured myself skiing badly and had a long recovery, they were easy to claim through and paid for the expensive things upfront, even covered me for a series of needed physio sessions. Overall a great choice for travel insurance!
