I have been an RMS customer for 15 years and the service has been fine over the years with response to calls and e mail satisfactory although things have obviously changed and you never really know how good or bad a company is until something goes wrong. I have been trying to contact them regarding transactions being declined for 3 days solid with numerous e mails and 15 minute holding phone calls but to no avail as they are not actually possible to contact. Their sales reps only seem to stick around for two weeks whilst they are on a selling campaign and then vanish without a trace! RMS should know much better than to put up a brick wall to customers and should start to build a genuine after sales department before everyone stops using them!

Do not use this company, they do not answer the phone when card machine not working, after 1 hour the call just cuts out, I have lost soooooooo much money by not being able to take card payments, much better companies out there you can use that are reliable

I’ve been with this company for a few years. When I signed up with them initially they answered calls and were helpful. I have tried calling them regarding some issues for the last 3 days and have stayed on hold for over an hour each time but still can’t reach a human to speak with. Not a good company to be with anymore.

Impossible to contact; don't waste your life
We are still being charged £10/month by their acquirer Elavon for an unintegrated ecommerce merchant account that is never used. We have been trying to cancel this merchant account for a very long time. It has no contract and processes £0/month. I have emailed multiple times with no response. I called today and waited 30 minutes again with no response. "Teya" (previously "Saltpay") who bought them pick up the phone in a few seconds, but, cannot deal with anything from RMS. Unsurprising. 0/10; if you have to contact RMS you will be wasting hours of your life.

Avoid at all cost
This company are STILL charging me a monthly fee despite me cancelling the account in April. They sent me details for me to return their terminal and yet still charging as well as their sister company Elavon. Getting threatening letters and scaring me to death . Betty’s Sewing Box Ashbourne

No response to a critical fault
We have been customers for nearly 4 years, at the busiest time of year our card machine (on which we are dependent) develops a serious fault, we have called through multiple times over several days and never been connected. I emailed and the robot says someone will get back to me a week (5 working days) later. This kind of service is literally useless and not fit for purpose. We now have to start a new contract with another provider pronto; RMS aren't getting another penny of our hard-earned cash!

Don’t reply to emails. Tried 4 different email addresses. They have Changed phone numbers and on hold for half an hour to an hour each time, they charge random fees on your invoices - a “listing” fee which I did not approve, there are better card rates with other providers - shop around, don’t get stung as a small business like we did

Do not use this company. Our business is in hospitality and their technical support helpline is office hours from Monday to Friday so if your machine goes down you have no way of fixing it. Even on Monday, you are on hold for 40 minutes. No active rep. Rubbish!
