They're horrible for so many reasons I'll just outline some of them. They won't show up to a confirmed appointment. I had to call them after 30 minutes of waiting to find out that the showing had been cancelled and no one bothered to contact me. When asking them what happened, they kept going around in circles saying that it's "an experience to learn from and that they'll circle back and grow from this". Once you give them your information, you'll get calls all throughout the day from different people pressuring you to submit an application for a property, or they will present all the nearby properties to you. You'll tell one representative that you're not interested, and an hour later, you'll get a call from another representative trying to go through the same exact thing. Please don't work with them or give them your information.
List your properties yourself instead of working with them
We set up an appointment for the apartment showing but no one showed up. After a few phone calls, a person called and asked a picture of my ID to send them to share the passcode of the key holder. I am not going to share my ID with an online entity just to see a place. Home owners, do not work with them. They claim to be a property manager but they are bunch of hired unprofessional people who have no idea how things work.

I'm looking for a one bedroom in Alameda County. Affordable housing or Section 8 from another county so I would need to transfer it I am 64 years old, disabled. One rent keeps promising they have these types of rentals, but I am having no luck with them. They have all my personal information. Either they promise me a viewing and never send me an address or communication is vague and poor over the phone. When they call my phone says Scam Likely. Im having no luck, being lied to or something else.

I would give them negative stars if I can choose. It took 4 month for them to rent out my apartment in Seattle! Not some remove rural areas, in a central area in big Seattle area! They were eager for you to sign a service contract, so they bug you everyday before you sign. But when you want to get out of the contract, they are unreachable!!!
We made an appointment to view a house…
We made an appointment to view a house and when we arrived there was another family waiting with the "realtor". They couldn't get the door open because they had the wrong key code. Not a biggie because we were all told that they could let us in another time. We wanted the place anyway because the yard was really big and had 2 pools. We jumped through major hoops to qualify for that property. I mean we filled out and submitted documents for a few days. We were told our profile was 100% complete and when logging in, it did indeed show 100% complete. We were told that we qualified for ANY house listed on onerent. We were told that they recommended us highly to the owner and that the owner would make their decision on our app by the end of they day. Then, total radio silence. Not another text, call or email. I logged into our account and saw that someone had closed our application for that property and changed our profile status to 70% complete. We were kept waiting for a long time and no one had the courtesy to let us know a status. Who does that? Why would someone do that? I consider it extremely rude and am thoroughly dissatisfied with one rent's customer service.
Lots of boasting and misleading presentation,
They have reached out to me to list my property for rental. Made lots of promises including the followings: 1. we already have people interested in your property. 2. we have a professional photographer. 3. we do individual evaluation of your property. 4. we always rent it in less than a month. And well all of these turned out to be lies. None of them were correct. All they do is to list your property on a few listing sites that you can do yourself and answer inquiries. And the quality of them handling the inquiries is definitely not as good as how you do it. I have to pay them $250 to pull out of our agreement after two month to then be able to rent it myself. Lesson learned.
Unreliable, time-wasting customer service
Unreliable, time-wasting customer service Tried to set two different appointments in two different occasions. The first one was canceled the evening before. For the second one I was hesitant but decided to give them a second chance. This was a mistake, apparently: the agent simply didn't show up for the appointment. When I called the agency, explaining the situation of waiting outside with 2 kids at 6 PM, they said they'll check and get back to me within 5-10 minutes. After 20 minutes when no one called back, we gave up and drove back home. Not only that - the day after, an agent got back to me and apologized. She offered to send me a link to a self-show of the property. I said OK. After 20 minutes I received the link, for a different property 40 miles away from the property I was interested in. So unprofessional.
Everything is good
Everything is good. I have three units to be rented. All were rented in a short period, which was awesome! However, when three units were rented, I have three different points of contacts from the Success Team. One for each unit. I think one person would have been ideal sine all three units are in one building.

The process was more friendly and helpful than any other online process I have worked with. That was a pleasant surprise. Had a person to person feel which is rare these days. Thank you!
Onerent needs to improve
Onerent gets vendors usually quickly. But our house was not professionally cleaned or checked before we moved in.
