Horrible service

We are property owners and have used one rent for nearly 4 years. This last year their service has become horrible. Our tenants have had 3 maintenance tickets in since September that have not been addressed. I have called and emailed numerous times and received assurances they will get right on it and get back to me and they have done nothing. No communication. We are so unhappy and will not renew

Onerent Review

The Onerent team has made the rental process surprisingly easy and efficient via the systems they have in place. Once you start the application process and are accepted you will get set up with a dashboard portal that you make your monthly payments. Onerent’s communication has been great and never an issue trying to get ahold of them. They like to text to keep you updated which is great but they also follow up via email. Application process also pretty straightforward using a DocUSign like program makes signing easy and quick.

Polite but completely disorganized

After seeing a promising-looking condo rental listed on apartments.com, I called the number associated with the listing. I was answered by a friendly representative who helped me set up a showing for 12:30 the following day. I immediately got a text saying my showing had been booked, but I confusingly also got a second concurrent text stating that I already had a showing booked for that listing and asking me to confirm whether I wanted a second showing of the same place. I was still on the line with the representative, who told me I could safely ignore the second erroneous text, which I did. Fast-forward to 11:30 the day of the showing, and I got a text stating that my showing had been cancelled because I hadn't confirmed my appointment. I immediately called the number, and a representative quickly helped me confirm the showing manually so that it could go ahead as originally scheduled. Slightly before 12:30, both the agent and I arrived at the condo for the showing. The owner of the condo was present and was surprised to see us -- she stated that she had cancelled her contract with onerent three days previously, a full two days before I even scheduled the showing. Clearly nothing is kept up-to-date in the onerent internal system, because nobody was aware of this. Not the field agent who tried to show the condo, not the customer service rep who later called to ask if I would like to reschedule my 'cancelled' appointment, not the system that afterwards texted me asking whether I liked the place I had just 'toured.' Very disappointing!

THIS COMPANY IS GARBAGE. We had a viewing 2 weeks before we moved into our apartment. Leasing agent said they were going to take care of a number of maintenance tasks that needed to be done PRIOR to move in. We asked if we could see the unit a few days before move in, and they said no. Surprise, surpirse, when we moved in, NONE of the tasks had been taken care of. 2 weeks later, after many calls and emails, still nothing has been taken care of, including a fridge that is leaking. They don't answer emails. And every time you call you get a different person, and they act very polite, but never actually resolve your issues. Still haven't had one maintenance person over. These people are con artists. They are super nice and responsive until the second you sign the lease. Then they dissapear.

Very satisfied

Team Onerent worked continuously with what I had to offer to find a tenant for my property as fast as possible, they answered all my concerns responding very fast and politely and helped me understand many things to increase my knowledge for future experiences.

Time wasters

I lost out on renting a home, and they kindly offered me 3 similar properties, initially I was impressed. However when I called to see how to get pre approved I was told the next property was already under contract, but would I like to see it anyway? I was appalled! Then when I inquired on Zillow, they said it was available, booked me an appointment for tomorrow. Low and behold I get a message tonight saying it’s gone and cancelling my viewing! Really? They mess people around, and obviously mess landlords around. When you call you are connected with someone who talks English at you, but dosnt understand you. Waste of time, stay away !
