Very Helpful

Charlotte and Charlie were very helpful both on the live chat and an in person phone call. I wanted a bed and mattress that were in the sale but was yet to move house and hadn't got the moving date. They helped me choose the correct mattresses and advised me on how to reschedule delivery of items once I got a firm house moving date. I have faith that all will be well with delivery and that items will arrive at the correct addresses.

Just Nope

Just Nope, ordered a Simba Pillow and all they do is go to Simba, order it from them, then send it out to me. I could have done that!!! Paid 10 Pounds for 5 day delivery, to be told Simba have delayed it...asked for a refund as service was not what was promised. To be told that delivery has to take place(12 days since order, for 10quid!) Before refund. Used the virtual chat and it took 25 hours and 3 chat sessions just to send me a confirmation email. Quotes from the customer service team include gems such as, 'Your email has been added to a work order' & 'I'm answering you on chat which is stopping me sending an email'....ITS AN EMAIL. Refund is still pending so lets see...Next time I'll pay more and just order direct from Simba. Lesson Learned...

Superb customer service

Lucy, getting through to a human and not a chatbot was a surprise and delight at 7:30in the evening. Polite, helpful, solved a problem, upsold without upselling and stayed 20mins beyond her shift ending to complete my purchase.

Julie was extremely helpful, very friendly yet very professional. She guided us to the mattresses that she felt suited our needs - in our case light in weight. She showed us different possibilities and qualities, but did not push us and let us take our time to chose which we felt suited our needs best. It was very nice to go shopping and have a helpful and knowledgeable assistant.

Mike gave good advice about the different makes and types of bed even though he said he hadn’t been working there that long. He had a pleasant manner and came across as genuine. He also allowed me to bring my rescue dog Rex, who suffers from severe separation anxiety, into the shop which really helped me out.

Buying a new mattress.

We first checked that the Wigan branch had a selection of the mattresses that we wanted to try out before we made the journey there from South Manchester. Both Irene and Alan were very helpful, knowledgeable and not pushy at all. We must have spent about 2 hours laying on numerous mattresses, during which we were not hastled to make a quick decision, before we decided on the best one for us which we bought at a good price. I would not hesitate to recommend Land of Beds to anyone who is thinking of buying a new mattress.

What started as a fiasco was resolved

What started on Wednesday evening as an 'on line fiasco'having ordered a new bed and the payment not going through was resolved on Thursday morning by a very competant advisor 'Mike' who confirmed the order had been listed (just not paid for) and took the payment there and then! We now know it will be on its way!
