Emailed to query the virtual terminal we have been paying for but not used. Response was very quick. The member of staff cancelled the terminal and was extremely friendly and helpful.
Immoral, Money Grabbing, Harrassment, No Complaint Procedures! Avoid!
Avoid at all costs! I previously had all my business utilities supplied with Kinex with zero issues. Since the buy over of Kinex to Clear Business I have had nothing but issues! I am in the process of moving ALL of my supplies away from them, however it is extremely difficult and you will need to spend a lifetime on the phone being spoke to rudely and hung up on or given the wrong information. Mobile Services - I am still paying for a phone contract 4 months after it was transferred to another provider. Several ignored complaints about this. escalated it, still ignored! If you phone, they WILL hang up on you. It appears they must work at home and just can't be bothered so they answer, spend a minute on the phone and then cut you off. After phoning over 10 times I am yet to not get hung up on by the mobile dept. If you do not have a team that knows what they are doing when it comes to mobile communications and transferring over contracts then maybe you shouldn't offer this service?! - My several complaints have been completely ignored and no point phoning if they are just going to hang up - so now having to escalate to the ombudsman!! Electric - Electricity standing charges have quadrupled so I have left with little to no issues excect CB refusing the transfer initally but did actually complete transfer on time. However I did get multiple sales calls to try and keep my business but the customer service is poor and I do not support business that quadruple standing charges .. its just a poor show for money grabbing and ruining small businesses!! Wifi/Telephone - They try and charge for "extras" to link your phone to the router. These "extras" will bump up your basic package to a £80pm package. Do not fall for it. Most phones bought in the last decade are digital ready! All you need is a cable to connect to router. You do not need "seats" with monthly premiums and "internet ready phones" at £60 a handset- avoid these digital telephone companies! Vodafone is the only provider doing this right with no hidden unnecessary "extras" bumping up your bills. Been happy with my "no extras" digital phone line for a year now - zero issues so these extra costs are just a Money making scheme again. I actually pay a lot less now with Vodafone as there is no line rental anymore. (which is logical - these extra charges for using your wifi for your phone number is not logical! you should literally only be paying for wifi and essentially getting a free phone number seeing there is no extra lines. - do not fall for the "extras" when you already pay for your wifi) Water - Property had a burst main pipe which leaked straight back into the wastage pipes. It falls under the leakage allowance and was advised to cancel all direct debits until rectified as they will be a refund on the account once the allowance was agreed between CB and the water board. Teams do not communicate so I have had umpteen debt collection letters, emails, phone calls, threats etc etc. They contact me several times a day but do not update their record no matter how many times I tell them there is a refund due on the account and it has been raised with the water board and it is being investigated. they do not listen. The phone calls are recorded so I tell them to listen to the calls to hear for themselves that there is a water board investigation and that I was advised NOT TO PAY. They do not care, and they ignore ALL of your complaints. They just continue to HARASS you for money! Billing - Billing team is completely useless but I assume that is because the rest of the teams do nothing, tell them nothing, and do not update accounts correctly. But also maybe the billing team is just as bad as every other team I have listed above. They are now trying to charge me fees and interest for not paying a bill I was advised not to pay and for not paying for a phone that they haven't provided for 4 months!! They will not get one more penny until the issues are rectified because no doubt it will be a mission to get any sort of refund!! Conclusion - I really do hate this company, I am now getting legal advice and will be reporting them to every governing body out there for every service they claim to provide! This company needs investigated for their immoral practices, money grabbing schemes, failure to close contracts, invoicing for services not provided, and harrasment!!! It is not a customers responsibility to ensure teams communicate. This a very badly managed company that are quick to take your money but will not give you any form of customer service when an issue arrises. I have in total spent around 8 hours on the phone to this company and sent multiple emails. I am still no further forward. Avoid avoid!
