Fool me once... Let's start with the positives: the products are great. Packaging is elegant. The stores are really nice. The in-store personnel is friendly and knowledgeable. The online experience is horrible. It's happened to me before, so my bad, but ordering online involves huge delays and no response from customer service. I ordered gifts for my office a week ago, and the order hasn't been packed or shipped. I leave end of this week for holidays, so have tried to cancel the order, but received no response from customer service. There is no phone number or chat function, so email is the only (old school and non-interactive) way of contacting the company. The phone lines in the stores don't seem to be manned either. A frustrating experience to say the least. Avoid online orders from Rococo!

I have ordered quite a few times from Rococo. The products always come beautifully packaged. They are pricey but they are definitely worth the price for the quality! Now and again they also email me discount codes which is always nice. Please can you bring back the coffee pecan pie bar! It was my favourite!

Don’t get them delivered. The chocolates are great but my parcel was just folded cardboard with no padding at all so all I have now is chocolate shards in a bag. I ordered the mixed pralines for my partner’s birthday and it isn’t worth gifting the condition is so bad.

The chocolates, once handmade and each an individual confection are now a “brand” trading upon past glory and indistinguishable from other sadly similar industrial products. Once, it was a distinct pleasure to savour each individual chocolate from the box. No more… Only the logo and the wrapping remains the same… A superior product made in England is now replaced by mediocrity from France. There is no distinction amongst the blandness for £160.00. I might as well bought Cadbury’s. Beware!

My son brought me a bag of Rococo dark chocolates for my birthday. He purchased them at the last minute, because he couldn’t find my favourite candles. That evening I opened one of the 5 individually wrapped squares and discovered that it turned grey musty colour, and clearly not suitable for consumption. I opened another one and it was exactly the same. I moved on to opening a Moroccan Mint Dark Chocolate Tins box and found horrible grey crumbly mess of all the chocolates melted together at some point in the past. I moved on to one of the two 70g bars of chocolate and it was more or less the same – a grey, musty looking bar. The 2nd bar looked OK, but I did not fancy to try it. All damaged chocolates had expiry year 2022, and the year of expiry of the only 1 bar looking edible was 2023. I did not tell my soon about it, not to upset him, but I contacted Rococo customer service on line and via chat to explain what happened. I provided photos of the chocolates, including packaging. I wish I never contacted them and just put the chocolates straight in the bin. I was interrogated by incredibly unhelpful defensive person. Whatever I said was straight away contradicted with various insinuations, how the chocolates could get damaged after they were purchased, etc. I had to withdraw from the conversation and try to forget the unpleasant experience, but I am still shocked how I was treated. Needless to say, I will never consider trying any of Rococo products. Ps. Following company’s response, pointing out that the customer service followed the proceeds, all I have to say is that clearly, not only the particular customer service representative, but the whole company attitude is appalling. I expected the customer service to be alerted about the issue with their product and pleased that I highlighted it. Clearly, the batch dated 2022 has been mischannelled and not suitable for sale. I reported it, so the problem could be addressed, and NOT to get discounts or replacements.

The chocolates were nice but so overpriced - I was told that if bought individually they can cost up to £3 per chocolate! I wish I hadn't bothered but was in the shop and needed a chocolate fix and was expecting them to be fabulous - I was wrong.

Bought this chocolate for a gift, very expensive and being a chocolate lover I had high expectations for the price. On arrival the gift note was written on a standard piece of small paper, the chocolates themselves tasted of old stale chocolate I have had delicious chocolate and this tasted worse than very big standard supermarket value chocolate. Just felt like a huge rip off. I wouldn’t purchase from here again.

I’ve reordered the new adddition to the fantastic range ie: orange creams, wonderful. I hope this remains a permanent fixture. Likewise the dark chocolate mint creams which are first class and unmatchable. Another major plus is their impeccable customer service. Many companies would benefit from adopting Rococo’s customer first ethos.

Delicious, beautifully presented chocolates - a really special gift. Slight problem with delivery but Sarah was attentive, courteous and most importantly went the extra mile to sort out the issue. The definition of excellent customer service. Will use this company again with no hesitation. Ticked every box!

- so first I have to commend on the brilliant costumer service. This could of been a very different review. I had 2 presents from my partner from here and one of them was not sitting right with me. the other was amazing so I decided to reach out and the team have done a great job dealing with me so I decided to order some bits and bobs to change the taste in my mouth and yes! I currently have a brilliant one. The hazelnut chocolate slabs are very classic full body taste with well caramelised hazelnuts That give it a beautiful crisp. I am most impressed with the blondie chocolate bar and the many tastes that can be enjoyed and tasted individually in the same mouthful -it ticks every box.... without being too overpowering. A stroke of genius. Tho I wasn’t fond of the Vegan stuff my partner got for me ( then again I’m not vegan) the rest are absolutely delightful. Thank you and look forward to more goodies.
