Quality gone downhill!
I'm a long standing consumer of the Rose Milk Chocolate bar, so pretty expert on the taste/texture of the chocolate. My latest delivery tastes very unpleasant. A cheap, greasy texture and the delicate rose flavour has gone. Rococo confirmed that the recipe has changed - definitely for the worse! I would hazard a guess that the new owner has abandoned quality for price ie: cheaper ingredients, which matches the new cheap cellophane wrapping. Have all their other chocolates gone in the same direction? I would say beware if you do care! I won't be buying any more.

I had a great experience with ordering, fast shipping and customer service. I have purchased from here before but never online so I was worried however the experience was seamless, even with delivery difficulties! The truffles are great and I recommend them as a treat or a gift.

Extremely Dissatisfying Experience
Having been a loyal customer of this company for some 20-years, I have now decided to leave after several terrible experiences. From items promised within 2-days taking 2-3 weeks, or not arriving at all, or arriving smashed to pieces. Ordering items 'in stock' to find out they're not in stock. Ordering items early for Birthdays and Christmas, that never arrive on time or at all, or smashed. Replies from management: 'apologies for inconvenience'... 'have refunded you'... 'would've tried to resend but gone out of stock again', 'sorry to have let you down so badly', etc. After a recent 2-week overdue delivery for Christmas, I was left with 3-days to arrange an alternative. I discovered zChocolate.com who delivered from France within 48-hours on Christmas Eve! The chocolates are simply amazing, and moreover they have a long-running offer whereby they double your order for free. So, my advice is look around. There are other more professional companies out there that deliver high-quality hand-made chocolates intact and on time.

Well overpriced garbage!
My partner has been eating chocolate for over 55 years and I bought her this for xmas, I usually buy from Lauden which she loves but even though it was weeks before xmas they were sold out of everything! When I received this item I was shocked to see this size of the box it's tiny!!! £16.95 for 26 x wafer thin circular chocs about 2mm thick and the size of a Ritz in diameter!!! She says the chocolate wafers are TASTELESS so in my opinion this is a total rip off and it's back to Lauden from now on. STAY WELL CLEAR FOLKS! UPDATE REGARDING REPLY:- I don't want your bribes I do not write reviews trying to get freebies from VENDORS I write them to warn people.

Making it better..
I wrote a review last week - the contents of which I meant and were entirely true - however it only feels fair to say what happened next - which was that I did in the end after Rococo seeing the reviews...receive an apology, a refund and a promise my order would be fulfilled anyway - that's really fair customer service - it should have happened straight away but the fact it did at all is really great - so thank you Rococo...:)

Impressive correction of customer service error
Until today, I was for many years a very happy Rococo customer. I have made more purchases than I can count, both online and in their London shops, both as gifts and for myself and my family. However, the customer service I've just experienced with Rococo has floored me. Nearly three weeks ago, I ordered a fairly substantial Christmas gift to be sent to friends in the US. I was surprised that my friends hadn't mentioned receiving it, so I Iogged onto the Rococo website to check the order status. According to the website, my order was "complete". So imagine my amazement when I received an email today notifying me that my gift had in fact never been shipped and that now, Christmas having passed, most of the items in my order are now out of stock. Rococo has not been able to provide a satisfactory answer as to why the order was never fulfilled. And the only restitution they offered was to send my friends the two or three small items that are still in stock - which at this point, of course, would arrive well after the holidays - and to refund the cost of those items. I thought this was a very poor offer under the circumstances, given what a colossal customer service fail this was and also given my history as a very loyal customer. UPDATE: Rococo have promised to refund my money and have also, at their own expense, sent our friends a gift card greater in value than my original order. I am very impressed and happy with the effort Rococo have put into making things right.

Honduras 70% is incredible
I was lucky enough to recipes three single origin dark chocolate bars. The Honduras 70% chocolate is one of the best chocolates you can buy, it's incredibly smooth and rich. The Vietnamese 100% is also very good, if you like 100% chocolate. I'd also recommend going into the King's Road shop for the fresh chocolates, which are delicious.

Forgotten order
I ordered £60 of chocolates from Rococo two weeks before Christmas. After a week I had not had a dispatch notice so I asked when I would receive it. There is no telephone number for customer service and they only respond very slowly over email. Eventually I was told my order had been forgotten and they wouldn’t be able to deliver before Christmas. Poor service but even worse that they are barely contactable. Have asked for a refund and won’t return.
