I realised after i booked with eventim That I could have got a much better seat, for less money if I had booked direct with the venue.

I had to buy these tickets as the front row seats I paid for at the beginning of the year have disappeared in the digital ether.

Sister booked Taskmaster live e voucher for me. It didn't say anywhere on the site that the validity was so short. Response from Eventim was unfeeling. They will be making a fortune out of people who can't book in with it finishing in Feb.

I'm a big fan of gigs at the Eventim Apollo but my recent experience when buying tickets has dampened my enthusiasm. The apparent cost of two standing tickets was £77.00. The actual cost was £95.50 because I was also charged a booking fee (£4.75 each), a venue levy (£2.50 each), a processing fee (£1.50) and delivery/transaction costs (£2.50) - that's a 24% additional fee per ticket. What exactly does a booking fee cover that doesn't include a processing fee and a delivery cost? Why isn't the venue levy part of the ticket price? Just list a flat rate ticket price at the point when we're choosing a ticket so we all know exactly what we're going to pay. EDIT: Following Eventim's response - I understand the legal requirement, but it doesn't explain why the total price is not shown first (at least for all elements that apply to every individual ticket) with the breakdown to follow. Or why some of those charges even exist, as per my review.

Clear and consistent level of transaction and I was able to navigate purchasing highly sought after tickets (on a pre-sale offer) easily.... even though I needed to change my payment details from the one held on my account with the clock ticking!
