Cora at customer support was there when I had a technical problem which was sorted out quickly and effectively.

I love the products, I am using an zigbee motor with Home assistant, ran into some compatibility issues with my adapter, I changed it and now it’s perfect. The shades are responsive, super designed and well priced. It’s surely worth it.

If you smart blinds, get smartwings blinds, they are the best.

Took me a long time to get HomeKit working because the distance was too far from the AppleTV. It took over a week back and forth with their support team to finally learn this. Fortunately, they offered a partial refund to cover the additional expense for Homekit that doesn’t work in my house. The blinds look nice and the motor works great without HomeKit.

Sight unseen, I was nervous to order a large custom shade for my living room double windows. Great color and high quality. I added to solar panel for recharging, the blackout side panels, and the additional fabric to the top of the shade. Good call as it made the shade extra nice. The Alexa sync was also seamless. Recommended to all my family and friends!

All the motorized roller blind options were 2 to 4 times the cost of smartwings. I bought 5 Alexa enabled and 3 remote only. You do need a very specific Alexa device, and it's not as intuitive to use as other smart devices, but it works. There is also an option. For a smart plug that basically converts the remote to a smart hub. They mount super easily, look great, and came packaged in a nice box.

Update: Customer service responded promptly with detailed directions to reset the roll to standard from reverse. The directions are long but easy to follow making the blind exactly as ordered. Original: The blind works well. It is well constructed. It provides near total blackout as advertised. The Alexa interface is a little difficult to setup, but once done works well. However, the blind was built as a reverse roll contrary to my order of standard roll (drops from front not back) which leaves a light gap between the blind and window frame. I’m awaiting customer service response to rectification.

Can’t beat the price of these but… Blinds are often non responsive in HomeKit app Some more than others even though the router is not far away There is no smart wing app?..why? Also material quality is not as high as other high end brands. Many have lines in the fabric from the compression of being rolled. Still overall satisfied considering they are almost half price of other brands.
