Technician communicated several times in advance of our scheduled appointment, showed up on time, and deinstalled our old dishwasher and some troublesome old screws and hardware. He replaced old water pipes with new ones and installed our new dishwasher. Yea! Then, he took our old dishwasher out and loaded it in his truck to be disposed. I am extremely satisfied with this company.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
Most of the cleaning team is wonderful but customer service with this company is TERRIBLE. I had 3 no-shows for which I was given $60 credit to use. Handy keeps pushing these credits out and won't allow you to use them. The last customer service agent over text gave me 5 different explanations as to where the $60 went. From they were used for your appt tomorrow but they were not to they were used for a subscription fee which I have never been charged or paid during my lengthy time at Handy to 'they were not credits, they were savings." Get your story straight.

I had a highly unsatisfactory experience with Handy. My primary issue revolves around their billing practices; I was charged twice, including a cancellation fee for a plan that Handy itself cancelled. This seems utterly unfair and raises questions about their ethical practices. Furthermore, the operational logistics of Handy are also concerning. The cleaners assigned to my home were often located far away, adversely affecting the quality of service they could provide. While this is no reflection on the cleaners' efforts, it indicates a lack of consideration from Handy in matching clients with nearby professionals. My dissatisfaction extends to Handy's financial model as well. It appears that a significant portion of the charges do not go to the cleaners, who are the backbone of their service. This disparity is troubling and suggests a profit-centric approach at the expense of fair compensation for their workers. Another point of frustration is the rigidity and lack of transparency in their booking system. Altering or cancelling cleaning appointments often leads to unjustified charges, and the system doesn't seem to account for changes effectively. This lack of flexibility and clarity in their process is a major drawback. Lastly, customer support is another area where Handy falls short. When technical issues arise with the app, there is no option to speak with a human representative over the phone for assistance, which can be incredibly frustrating and inefficient. Overall, my experience with Handy has been far from satisfactory. Their service model not only inconveniences customers but also seems to undervalue their own cleaners. I would not recommend their services based on these multiple concerns.
