Awful service, part was needed to fix an oven but no one called me to tell me or take payment. My tenant told me a part was required and would cost 49.50. When I chased them they told me the price was 67.80! The part itself can be found online for around 30! I asked for the part number so I could check exact price but was told "against company policy to give out details" really?? They don't give them out because they know they are overcharging! To top it off £74.36 was taking from my account!

Poor service - no I will not be removing the review
We Ordered for a microwave and oven to be repaired. They Told us that we will need new parts for both. We called them, and we thought we were paying for two parts but only paid for one part (we found this out two days ago). Two days ago we called them and asked what’s the hold up with our microwave and oven as we have been waiting for weeks and they told us they had not ordered the part for our oven as we have not paid for it - so within those weeks no one had called us to make us aware and when we made the first payment for one part, why was we not notified to make another payment for the second part? So that has caused us a delay in getting our oven and microwave sorted. They told us they would fix the microwave on 8/4/21 at anytime during the day. Fast forward to today 8/4/21 to the very rude customer service by a staff member over the phone. Shouting over me. They called 45 minutes before arrival to apparently notify me they was on the way, I missed the phone call. I missed the second call when they just arrived at the property, they were there for 10 minutes and got through to me. They said they have left and I will have to pay more for them to go back to property. According to them 45 minutes should be enough notice which I disagree. Then the staff began to argue with me well there’s no one at the property, when in fact they knew they would have to collect the key from a different location to enter the property just like they did when they first came around the property. He argued by saying well is that what you said on the telephone call two days ago, I will check then as all conversations are recorded. I haven’t received a response yet. Update 8/4/21 at 2pm: I had to call them for an update, as I didn’t hear anything from them. The guy told me he has booked me in for next week Thursday. Absolutely ridiculous, it’s like they expect for their customers to work around their schedule, we should drop our worlds to suit them. No one asked me if I’m available for next week Thursday, they even booked a slot in for next week Thursday without calling me to tell me. 45 minutes notice prior to arrival so I should drop my own world for a company that cannot schedule time slots, not even estimated time slots - absolutely ridiculous. Not only have you caused me a delay in getting my oven and microwave fixed you’re refusing to go back without me paying additional cost. completely unprofessional. The staff member had the cheek to say “Well our delivery service has worked well for 30 years” clearly not since you have 3.6 as a review score as a company. Multiple calls from the company asking me to remove the review. No I will not be removing the review. I should write what happened after all of this but I’m not going too.

Unresponsive after job couldn't be done. Hidden Fees.
The Engineer visited the property to assess the situation - a faulty wine fridge. After I paid for the part they suggested they returned and discovered that the fridge couldn't be removed - something could have discovered on their first visit though not their fault. However they sought to charge a £100 "Admin Fee" on top of the fixed repair fee. I disputed the extra fee and in 6 weeks and and with 6 emails I've not had a response.

I have never written a bad review: But with the capital repairs company, i surely felt fraudulent practice: They accepted the job sent out an engineer and many weeks and arguments later - the problem was not sorted.

I have an old American fridge/freezer that was in need of repair. Most companies I called weren’t interested In coming out, Capital Repairs were accommodating and I received some rare old fashioned service:). Gary was friendly, polite and definitely knew his trade. You may pay a little more but it was worth it compared to buying another fridge freezer. Highly recommended...
