Superb service
We, and our parents have used HTSS before. Our latest experience was the same 100% dedicated staff, from sales to install to technical. I would never buy a tub from anywhere else. Very good communication with regards to delivery, and power requirements. Lads showed up on time, installed exactly where we wanted it. Ross was excellent and allowed us to upgrade the steps for minimal cost, and made sure they came with the tub. Slight issue with a faulty topside, which is no fault of htss, but this was fixed in literally 2 hours as their main technical engineer came out to swap it, on NEW YEARS EVE. OK, I'm not far from their base, but even still, that certainly goes over and above. Thank you Guy. Our old tub 'died' after 15 years of service. We popped into Hot Tub Superstore in Blackpool to see what was available. My heart said go with the Michael Phelps all singing and dancing, my head (called Sheila) dictated a more measured approach. We settled on the Clarity Precision 7 as we prefer a seat in each corner. Andrea was very helpful. Order placed. Lucky us, as its planned 8 week delivery reduced down to 4. On the agreed delivery day, living 1000 feet up in the Pennines, meant snow halted our plans. No problem for Hot Tub Superstore. date re-arranged for the following week. Tub and install team arrived on time. Bitter cold and slippery underfoot phased then not one bit.. a few hours and a couple of brews saw the tub fully installed and warming up. Faultless service from start to finish. Super showroom, very helpful and knowledgeable sales team, quick efficient delivery service, excellent product. We purchased the Getaway 5 hot tub for our holiday let business, as we needed a regulations compliant hot tub that could be enjoyed by our guests renting the lodge. It is an excellent hot tub, simple to use and has all the usual toys you would expect. I could not rate the product or the Hot Tub Superstore team more highly.

Placed an order & chose the delivery date on the site as requested (it was for a gift for a birthday) they took my money immediately. 1 month later I’m still without the order, they responded to my first email saying it would be sent & apologies. 2 weeks later nothing, now my 4 emails, calls, DMs & even comments on the daily posts on social media are totally ignored. Take money but won’t provide the goods. Now going through the hassle of the fraud / scam procedures with my bank to get my money back!

Ordered cheese in December 2024, a slightly different but similar cheese arrived 2-weeks after the web site delivery date. The cheese was half size (ordered full wheel), attempted to contact through Facebook, Instagram, web site email, email through shop payment system. Received response week before Christmas promising to resolve (after sending photos), since then no contact, despite sending several emails for update. No offer of refund (part or whole), or even sending the other half of the cheese out to me. I support small businesses however Muswell Cheese Shop is one to avoid as their customer service is non-existent, and they do not deliver what you order.

Online ordering nightmare…
Same old story for this company by the looks of it. They can’t handle online orders and dealing with customers queries. Perhaps take the online order feature off, if struggling to keep up with customer service? I placed my cheese order on 17th Nov, for a 17th Dec delivery - plenty of time for Christmas. (DPD is the delivery method which haven’t been affected by strikes or operational issues) It hasn’t arrived and despite multiple attempts to contact the shop on various channels, I’ve had no luck resolving this order issue. Now I’m frustrated, out of pocket and close to Christmas. Shame.

J’ai passé une commande de plus de 300 euros sur le site des Jouets en Bois. Je m’y suis prise suffisamment à l’avance (première quinzaine de Novembre) pour la recevoir à temps pour Noël. J’ai reçu un mail de colissimo me disant que pour sécuriser la livraison, je devrai communiquer un code confidentiel ou présenter un QR code. Quand on fait une commande avec un montant comme celui-ci c’est tout à fait normal et c’est même rassurant. Je n’ai jamais reçu cette commande. D’après le site, le livreur aurait livré ma commande à… un tiers…?! Personne n’était présent à mon domicile ce jour là et personne n’a pu délivré le moindre code confidentiel, ce qui était demandé pour la livraison. Sur les CGV du site, il est noté que "La livraison est considérée comme réalisée à la date de réception de la marchandise par l'Acheteur. La remise de la marchandise sera effectuée contre signature par le client réceptionnaire d'un bon de livraison. Le transfert des risques s'opère au moment de la livraison du Produit." La marchandise devait être réceptionnée par l’acheteur (moi-même) et remise contre signature par le client réceptionnaire (moi également). Ce qui n’a absolument pas été le cas. J’ai contacté de nombreuses fois le service client du site, qui devait me faire un retour le 2 décembre et me renvoyer cette commande. Une dizaine de mails plus tard, le service client du site ne m’apporte aucune réponse… Je leur ai dit plusieurs fois que si je n’avais pas de retour de leur part, je serai contrainte d’ouvrir un litige paypal. Ce que j’ai finalement été contrainte de faire. À ce jour, je n’ai toujours aucune commande, et aucune solution apportée de la part du site…. Comment perdre 380 euros pour rien…

Une honte !
Achat d’une fusée en bois : montant 120 euros (la moitié de la fusée est en plastique…) J’ouvre brièvement le carton une semaine avant Noël et m’aperçois qu’une pièce est cassée. Le service client a été très réactif et une nouvelle pièce est arrivée le lendemain midi. Mais le jour de Noël, au moment de monter le jouet, je découvre qu’une seconde pièce est fêlée. Le service client refuse cette fois de changer cette pièce car j’aurais dû le voir dès le début (J’aurais donc du monter entièrement le jouet avant de l’offrir.. logique !). Sur leur site, les conditions de vente précisent que nous avons 2 ans pour redemander un remplacement de pièce dans le cadre de la garantie légale de conformité … Non seulement ils ne respectent pas leurs conditions de vente, de plus, ils ne répondent pas au téléphone, mais ils ne veulent même pas changer un bout de plastique pour qu un enfant de 3 ans ait un jouet non cassé pour Noël ! HONTEUX !

Modtog en defekt skærm fik det løst
Jeg modtog en defekt skærm til min iPhone 13 Pro Max, modtog en ny kort tid efter, den var også defekt. Nu er jeg på 3. skærm og den virker. :-) Deres support er super god, og forstående, der er ikke så meget diskussion om defekte produkter og de virker top professionelle. Jeg vil fortsætte med at køber herfra trods de defekte skærme.

Intet svar på reklamation trods flere henvendelser ☹️
Jeg købte i Januar 2024 bl.a. 4 batterier til forskellige ipads. Det oplyses, at batterierne har samme kapacitet som de originale. (Det ene batteri var det forkerte de havde sendt, men her svarede de fluks på min mail og jeg fik det ombyttet uden problemer.) Jeg installerede dem og de virkede alle 4, men på trods af at de skulle have tilsvarende kapacitet, så har alle 4 batterier betydeligt ringere kapacitet end de originale batterier. De løber hurtigere tør for strøm, når man bruger dem, samt hvis jeg oplader dem til 100% og efterfølgende efterlader dem ubrugt, så har de mistet op til omkring 7-10% batteriniveau dagen efter, på trods af at de ikke har været rørt siden fuld opladning. Normalt mister en ipad 0-1% under samme forudsætninger. Ud over dette, så er batteriet på min store ipad pro nu helt dødt og den kan ikke oplades, efter den har ligget mere eller mindre ubrugt ca to måneder, hvilket jeg godt nok synes er ærgerligt, da det ikke ligefrem er hurtigt at skifte batteri på en ipad. Batterierne har ikke den opgivne kapacitet og et er allerede dødt. Ved godt at kvaliteten på originale batterier (holdt 8-9 år med dagligt brug) ikke kan sammenlignes med uoriginale, men kvaliteten af de leverede batterier er alt for ringe og uacceptabel i forhold til hvad mab burde kunne forvente og hvad der oplyses. Sendte ovenstående til dem på mail 27/8 og hørte intet trods de lover svar "hurtigst muligt". Sendte dem så en mail mere 2/9, og denne har de heller ikke svaret på, så må nu konkludere, at de bevidst undlader at besvare mine mails. Ærgerligt og også ærgerligt, at jeg skal lave denne anmeldelse, men synes simpelthen ikke at andre skal havne i samme situation, da det er meget tidskrævende at skifte batteri i en ipad ☹️ Så derfor anbefaler jeg alle at undlade at købe batterier her, priserne er gode, men kvaliteten er dårlig og ville da langt hellere have givet lidt mere og fået kvalitetsbatterier i steder, da udskiftning absolut ikke er plug and play.

Har købt 2 stk. batterier til vores MacBook Pro og det var en stor fornøjelse at se de virker. Min mand havde købt et batteri fra en anden leverandør som ikke virkede og han fik sendt yderligere et som hellere ikke virkede, så købte jeg først et batteri fra SparePart til min pc'er og det virkede og så købte jeg et til min mands pc'er og det virkede også. We provided our card privately to the company. They charged our card without authorisation. We cancelled the subscription over 6 months before renewal, they fraudulently changed the account to a managed account and went ahead to charge a card we provided in trust to them, despite that we have not used the account for over 6 months. They try by all means to continue charging your cards even when their service do not meet your need.

Poor finish quality
I purchased a fire pit that I was told had slight damage. Mari in sales was very friendly and sent me several photos of the unit. Upon receipt of the unit, it was obvious there were manufacturing quality issues, and some poorly done rework to the finish as well as the damage disclosed. The chip and cracked corner Mari showed clearly were no big deal. The real issue is you can see the honeycomb layup material bleeding through the surface, and there are hairs/fibers embedded in the paint. Poor quality manufacturing workmanship, and these areas were not identified in the photos. The entire unit needs to be refinished properly. I reached out with my concerns and was promptly contacted by Steven Kinsey from Customer Service. I was pleased he said customer service was important, and he asked me what I wanted to be satisfied. I explained the entire unit needed to be refinished, and he repeated the terms of the sale and again asked what I wanted. I don't know the cost to properly refinish their product. Regardless, what I wanted was good professional customer service and recognition that the quality was substandard. Instead, I was floored at the fact Steven stated that the quality of this unit was indeed what they consider to be standard new quality, and perfectly acceptable to them... For this reason alone, beware! See pictures below of this new quality finish, and you be the judge... We love to enjoy the outdoors so spending a lot of money on our landscape and then having to figure out what furniture will accentuate our landscape was not easy. We checked out some of the biggest companies online like Wayfair, Amazon and retailers like Target, Walmart, Macy’s couldn’t find anything elegant and high quality. We then ventured into Crate & Barrel Pottery Barn, and West Elm but were sticker shocked. The next step we took was to look into smaller companies to see what they had to offer and we encountered StarFire Direct, quite possibly the most impressive company with the quality that they offer and even more impressive was the customer care and follow up. An agent named Scott knew exactly what we were looking for and gave us so many great options! The price was right, and we’ve been hosting gatherings with guests astonished by the sturdiness, beauty, and simplicity of our fire pit and patio set!

Scott & Steve-- so professional!
Starfire Direct is the most professional on-line shopping experience I have ever had! Scott Nunes and Steve Kinsey were all over the problem I was having after purchasing a log set and burner, but having only a few inches of flames. (Turns out the gas pipe was packed with lots of debris/ashes so only a small amount of gas could get through). But trying to troubleshoot this, they sent me videos, and other ideas to help out and I talked to Scott on the phone several times, both when purchasing and troubleshooting. Converting to gas logs is not simple; I was glad to have these two experts, ready to help in any way! It is a level of customer service I am not used to anymore!

Amazing Pacific North West trip
My wife and I wanted to plan a road trip up to and around the Pacific North West incorporating the US and Canada but did not have a clue where to start. We contacted Tracey at Travel Nation, who has a huge amount of knowledge of the region and she helped us to plan our perfect trip. Quite frankly, we could not have done it without her and thanks to her help, every single step of the way was planned in advance and could not have been any easier for us. When we got to the airport, our hire car was waiting for us, when we got to each hotel we checked in without any issues and all excursions were booked in advance and went according to plan. If you are going to do a multi-centre trip like this, we could not recommend Travel Nation highly enough, they take all of the stress out of planning the trip and make sure that you are left to have the time of your life. Their attention to detail is second to none and their recommendations are based on personal experience and are a huge help. A 5 star service all round!

A trip of a life time.
I have recently returned from a 2 month Round the World trip which I booked through TravelNation, in Brighton. David Taylor was their representative who organised my trip, working on routes and countries of my choice. I had the most fantastic time and cannot believe how easy everything fell perfectly into place because of David’s planning. I was advised, as a single elderly female traveller, to fly business class which was the best thing that could have happened. The cost of my 14 business class flights around the world was slightly more than a friend’s one business class direct return from London to Melbourne bought on the Internet. I had prearranged taxis to and from the airports after short stop overs, which helped avoid jet lag. The hotels, some included breakfast, I stayed at during my trip were amazing and really made me feel pampered and relaxed. Overall it was a wonderful experience mainly due, I feel, to David’s expertise and so if you are thinking of a trip of a life time then think/look no further than TravelNation and David Taylor to help plan it. You will appreciate my advice!

Charlie booked everything for our trip to Australia plus gave us some tips on what to do. We were quite anxious travellers as we had only ever been on package holidays, and not been abroad for 20 years, but Charlie made sure we would feel confident and happy. She also helped on her day off when our flights home were cancelled due to a tropical cyclone. The Travel Nation App is really useful too. I would thoroughly recommend Charlie and Travel Nation.

Exceptional, friendly and attentive service
The itinerary, for our round the World trip, arranged by Travel Nation, as well as the advice and support given as we prepared for our holiday of a life time was exceptional. We were regularly consulted as the plans began to take shape thus ensuring that hotels and travel plans would work for us. The result was an itinerary which addressed our fairly specific needs (both financially and in terms of destinations); took us to some of the most amazing places which we wouldn't otherwise have considered; and enabled us to have the trip of a lifetime. The links with the partner agents in some of the countries we visited were easily accessible when we needed to consult them in Australia. This was backed up with a prompt response from our agent in UK. I would definitely use this company again if I was planning a long and complex holiday.

A great holiday in Thailand
We really enjoyed our holiday in Thailand thanks to Jim at Travel Nation. Having given Jim a broad brief of what we were looking for he came back with an Itinerary that exceeded our expectations and included time in Bangkok, a great experience at Elephant Hills camp and then time to relax for our final week in Koh Lanta. I did the confined space high risk and rescue course and as someone new to this industry I was apprehensive about the course content but that was soon fixed. Excellent training package. The week long course started with 2 days confined space rescue and 3 days working at height rescue. Great training venue with plenty of different tanks, vessels and chambers to train in. Lots of different rescue equipment to use, fantastic instructors. Days were very well split between the class room and practicals.

High Risk Confined Space Course
The face of Reax based at Blackpool for me was Andy Hulls. His manner of teaching was very well balanced in ensuring competences were covered but was not over bearing. He took all of the students learning abilities into account. He carried regular knowledge checks to confirm our understanding. The exercises were well explained and carried out efficiently. Reax training facilities are excellent. I would recommend Reax to anyone wanting to refresh in confined space work or begin in this line of work.

Just done NC2/3 with Andy Williams. Great instructor who really knows his stuff and cracking facilities! One small bug bear...those covid screens between people at desks are really cumbersome and make navigating the space difficult in what is already a "snug" classroom. That said...Best confined space course I have done!!

Completed the working at height course here with an extremely well informed instructed called Alan. Both the centre and the instructor were superbly equipped to deal with scenarios that could happen in the work place. The pace of the course was just right and the instructor knew the course detail to an astounding standard.. After 23 years in my profession I have to say I was hugely impressed.. Even with covid restrictions in place it was still a fantastic experience. Well done Alan.

Superb
I've been on back to back courses for 3 weeks now whilst starting a new job and this admittedly has been the only one thay captured me. Andy did an absolute superb job at relaying it back. Kept everyone involved and held everyone's attention flawlessly. Some very fun practicals also. Examination afterwards was superb. Admittedly the examiners name evades me but he sat all the individuals down after for a 121 and assisted with anything we were unsure on. Deserves more than 5*

Best subscription box EVER!!! I bought this for my mom for Christmas a couple years ago and she absolutely loves getting her Bloomsy flowers every month. They are always fresh and last for several weeks. The cost is very reasonable considering what you would pay for an arrangement through one of the online florists. I really cannot rate The HifiHut highly enough. I found them by pure fluke on a google search. We are a family who like music but we're not obsessed so I wanted a mid range system with speakers as my teenager is getting massively into vinyl and Elvis in particular. Derek and the team steered me in the right direction, explained everything in great details - reminded me of things I'd forogtten about having had a "record player" as a teenager myself. I went and collected it. They took me through how to install it, I Youtubed the bits I was unsure of and I had it installed in a couple of hours. The sound is incredible, and it's great, really fabulous to be back listening to vinyl again - including all my old 80's and 90's vinyl.

They have a no fuss ethic. I had to return a cable that was faulty and they took care of me even though the item was just out of guarantee. I have bought numerous products off them such as a power supply and even simple products like a or next brush for vinyl it's so handy just drive into city west and you get what you want or alternatively I got a record deck delivered to Wicklow no problem. The tasting, history of gin is very very good, loved that part, the tour of making gin, well it’s quite simple so a little dull. The location not easy to get to, not hard, but an effort, but worth it. As a driver, got some free gin. Not quite sure what I was expecting, but it did not quite hit the mark.
