I am renovating my first house and always knew that I wanted to have a heat pump installed. I initially chose to go through a large energy company as I felt this was 'safer' - however, at this moment in time, they only offer retrofitting, so it was difficult to organise as I was mid-renovation. Additionally, I found out that they had huge waiting times for installation (10-15 weeks) which for a house without a heating system (in winter) is just not feasible. It was the end of November and I was desperate to have a heat pump fitted before Christmas. I found Green Electro Heating through the 'Vaillant Heat Pump installers by you' feature - they were the top rated / most experienced installers. I called and Dorina was supremely organised and a calming presence (when I was not!). She understood the time pressure I was under and managed to get Ionut to conduct a heat loss survey within a week. I met Ionut at the house and he answered all my questions clearly and explained to me how the system would work. He managed to send me the calculations later that day so I could order appropriate radiators asap. This enabled the installation to occur the week after meaning that start to finish everything happened within 2-weeks. I cannot recommend Green Electro Heating highly enough - especially for anyone who is interested in having a heat pump installed but is wanting to complete renovations at the same time. Ionut and his team are friendly, knowledgeable and extremely efficient.

We have recently had a number of windows replaced by Northumbeian Windows. The ordering process was easy - David and Lee turned up for appointments on time - and we were given all the information and sdvice to enable us to choose the style of windows that we wanted. We were kept informed of the expected fitting date. Lee and his team did a great job fitting the windows, were very respectful of the property and left the house spotless when they had finished. We did get quotes for the windows from one of the large national companies, but Northumbrian Windows blew them away with the quality of the windows offered and their excellent service. From start to finish our journey with Northumbrian Windows has been nothing but the best. David and his team have been consummate professionals throughout. David helped us choose the right windows for our home and then helped us navigate some planning issues in next to no time (which quite frankly would have taken me an age). Colin Jones was absolutely AMAZING. He fixed a problem with my boiler that had been there since it was badly installed by a heating engineer 5 years ago. It was done quickly, thoroughly and with minimal mess. He talked me through the entire process and serviced the boiler at the same time to ensure it was safe and the longevity of the boiler would be preserved. He was on time, professional, kind and considerate.

Vince quickly found out the problem with my boiler and repaired it by replacing the fan plus a new seal. He also cleaned the heat exchanger and checked over the boiler generally. Kerry arranged the call out efficiently and helpfully.

First thing they did was try to condem the boiler, even though there was nothing wrong with it, which was verified by Valiant who make the boilers. I wouldn’t recommend them.

A great boiler installation by Ben & Charlie completed within 6 hours. All stages of the process fully explained and all areas were kept clean & tidy. Our Vaillant boiler fits neatly into our airing cupboard and runs quietly.

Helios Electrical & Solar recently installed a solar system at my property, and the experience was outstanding. After extensive research, I appreciated that Helios focused on providing solid advice rather than a sales pitch. Their communication leading up to the installation was excellent, ensuring everything was well-coordinated with no surprises. The installation was completed over two days with exceptional workmanship, and they left the property clean and tidy. The entire process was professionally managed from start to finish.

So after our initial site survey we went ahead and had solar panels installed. Helios were very knowledgeable and professional. We upgraded to 11 panels with hybrid inverter and 5kwh battery. Due to possible shade issues I was advised that optimisers would be a good choice and was clearly explained the benefits of having them. It really wasn’t an easy install due to two chimney stacks a conservatory and awkward roof arrangement. Oh and an old roof with delicate tiles. However the work was done fantastically and many roof tiles replaced to ensure a leak free roof. All cables look amazing and everything tidied up. I’m so happy with the work carried out that I’m already planning to add more in the future.

The team at Helios did a great job from quotation to installation. All very smooth and easy. Matt super helpful setting up and also responding to any questions during and after install. Left things very tidily. 100% recommended.
