I am extremely dissatisfied with my recent experience with SMAS. We reached out to inquire about the renewal pricing for our accreditation, only to find that the costs had increased dramatically for what is essentially a basic administrative service that offers minimal benefit to our business. When I raised concerns about the pricing, the advisor I spoke with was unhelpful and dismissive. I even mentioned that CHAS was a cheaper alternative, but was told we had no choice but to renew with SMAS. What was even more frustrating—and downright unprofessional—was that after our call, the advisor went ahead and contacted our main contractor to inform them that we were refusing to renew our accreditation, despite the fact that we still have more than two months remaining on our current certification. This was completely unnecessary and seems to have been done with the intention of causing disruption between our company and our contractor. We are still under contract with SMAS, so the advisor's actions seemed entirely motivated by spite and were both unhelpful and underhanded. This kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable and reflects poorly on the company.

As a safety advisor to over 50 companies, I complete many applications for SMAS, CHAS, CQMS, Constructionline, SafeContractor and others. I completed a SMAS application today in about an hour which would be impossible with any of the other providers. The accreditation was urgent for my client so I called SMAS and spoke to a real and helpful person (My new friend Dan). SSiP accreditation is important and need not be complicated. SMAS at present have the easiest SSiP application process and the most helpful staff by far. If you can choose your SSiP provider, choose SMAS.

By comparison, SMAS make the task of completing all the SSiP application processes THE most straightforward and easy to comprehend. The ability to actually talk to someone directly is very reassuring, the quick turnaround makes it a completely stress free experience.

We have bought several of these gazebos over the years, and they are really sturdy with waterproof canopies and last really well. The reason we end up replacing them is simply from overuse and having them outside in the UV, weather and general debris through the Summer months! These are our go-to gazebos for sure.

We are on our second frame and third set of canopies and sides. The first frame bent and became so distorted after some winds so I bought a new one with new standard sides inc 2 window ones which ripped and lasted 5 mins. They then rotted and went mouldy within 6 months so I bought another set of 4 sides inc another 2 with the windows but heavy duty. And those, which are probably less than 6 months old have also just ripped and eroded (the window ones). Now, we do have the gazebo up but we have it in an alcove courtyard area, protected by the side of our house and neighbours, and we have lowered it to its lowest setting which we always do between Sept-March. It's not exposed to elements, it's not blown around, yet it still falls apart. They are not cheap, considering, even with their 20% off deals, but what's worse is that this all becomes landfill. I will now wait for spring and remove the 2 broken window ones and just leave open and exposed for next year, and probably move to a better make when I have to purchase a new one. It's not been worth the money having to keep replacing parts (all). Funny things is I am spammed constantly via email by this company but when I emailed them, prior to buying new sides, to ask a question - no one ever replied!

bought this gazebo a year ago and being in the uk it has had its fair share of storms and has weathred well over our hot tub. the metal parts have been fine, however the canapy has let it down terribly. it has a ripped roof, the sides have ripped and rotted on the seems of the sides. to replace the canopy and sides is 75% the cost of a new gazebo!! How can the canapy be 75% of the gazebo to replace than the metal gazebo? Oh yeah because they are cheap and always rip and tare and you cant buy a full new canapy anywhere but from All seasons!!!

Got to give this gazebo a review as we have just sat through our umpteenth storm and this fantastic gazebo is still in tact and one piece. It is in a corner so tends to be a little more sheltered and as on a stone patio we cannot use the pegs it is extremely well sandbagged down. This is our THIRD year of all weather use up throughout entire year and is only being replaced next year as its getting "tatty". Cannot recommend this gazebo enough as its best thing we ever purchased - please do not change quality in the future as these are truly amazing!

I went online directly last week and paid in full for a 3x3 meter Gazebo (through Rohen Ltd) for my sons birthday which we planned to use for this weekend. I received an email confirming the payment but no further information regarding dispatch/delivery. I followed this up yesterday to ask about the whereabouts of my order to be told it has been delivered. The item was delivered to my front doorstep whilst we were away for the weekend so no one was home and this had not been received or signed for by us in person. I have gone back to them and raised through the live chat and also via email which has been passed to the managers and they are refusing to to send a replacement for the goods of which I have not personally received. In short they have taken my money and I have not received the goods of which they are not willing to resolve. Personally I think this is very poor service and would avoid anyone else using at all costs! One very unhappy customer/family who are £200.00 out of pocket.

The 2 Gazebos 3 x 3 are the best things we have bought this year. So easy to erect and keep you shaded or dry whatever the weather throws at us.

Excellent Not cheap but we saved a lot of money. Detailed report abd good communication throughout. We couldn't get hold of the surveyor the day after we received the report but he was on holiday and after an email he rang us within an hour. Will use again.

Superb. Good detailed report. Good communication. Neil very good at explaining everything. Not the cheapest but not the most expensive. I'm a fellow professional in a different sector and I believe you get what you pay for. Pay less you get less of a detailed report. Pay more and you get more. The surveyor has more time when you pay more. This is why we paid upwards of £1500 for our survey. Neil found defects of a good five figure sum and we got this knocked off the property. So we saved more by paying more. No brainer.

We have used Dunham Hale Surveyors on three occasions now. Always easy to deal with and they get the job done without trouble. Jane was very easy to talk I and explained everything. One of Dunhams selling points is that they will guarantee to find at least £2000 in defects or refund you the survey fee if they don't. They actually found £11000 for us on this house and we negotiated with the vendor and managed to get 9000 off the house. Survey cost was £1200 but we got ££9000 off the house so this is monet well spent. I our first house we thought this was a really good assurance we wish all surveying firms did the same. Amazing service and gambling £1200 to get £9000 or £1200 back is a win win.

Neil called me at 7pm to discuss my survey after the visit, which my husband and I thought was above what most companies would do. Report detailed and lots of issues we didn't know about. Excellent. Recently used Dunham Hale Surveyors for our survey in Leigh Lancashire. We were impressed with the level of detail, communication, drone survey and the after advice received from Jane our surveyor. We have already recommended to friends who are also buying.

Second time we used Dunham's. Very good service. Prompt, very well written report. Good aftercare, and lots of information helped us decide on the property. We really liked the costs of defects which gave us an idea on what we needed to spend post completion. Not the cheapest but like others have said, what you pay determines how much time is put into the survey and report. We will use again.

We have used Dunham Hale Surveyors before and always efficient and competent. We opted for a drone survey with the level 3. Lots of issues we didn't realise and turns out that the drone showed some major problems with the roof sagging, bowing and lots of loose tiles. We managed to get a whopping 35k off the property. We are very pleased yet again.

I have used their services. Their communication is very poor and they are never ever reachable. I have used phone, email, whatsapp everything. All I have received is a survey report. During their sales pitch they mentioned they will discuss the report with me but that has never happened.

My buyer used this firm from their London office to survey the house which is part of an estate that I’m Executor of. The surveyor, Neil, went about his work ripping plaster off the walls and leaving it on the floor. The entrance to the front door had a wall paper lined porch, a part of which he ripped off and left on the walkway. Because the house was owned by an elderly lady who died last year and the house was in need of some repair, he probably took the view that it was ok to do what he did. I took photos of what he had done and called him to ask if this was their usual way of surveying. He got very defensive and rather than hold his hands up and apologise he felt he needed to stand his ground. This exacerbated the issue because he clearly feels this was acceptable behaviour as a supposed surveyor . The images of what he did do not lie. I probably wouldn’t have resorted to this review had he apologised. It had taken my wife and I around 9 months to clear the house to get it presentable for sale as well as to make the arrangements for the elderly lady’s funeral and to deal with Probate and difficult beneficiaries. This guy walks in and showed zero respect. In addition, the appointment was for between 9-10 am and he rocked up after 12.30pm, again with no apology. His arrogance was breathtaking ! This is not the end of the matter. Update 24 Jan 2025 Dunham replied to my review as I expected they would. The timing of the visit I will put down to a lack of communication on the agents part. However, I did not expect to find what I found when I returned to the house particularly as this was my family home which was put up for sale because of a family bereavement. I did call you on Thursday 9 Jan and yes, my wife and I did raise our voices at you because you doubled down on your actions. But, at no time did we verbally abuse you. Calling you arrogant does not constitute abuse. It’s an opinion of someone’s personality flaw. True abuse is far, far worse. That is not us. When I showed independent surveyors the images I took of what I had found, they were surprised. You state that the property is ‘in such poor condition’ - I would like you to clarify this statement. Let’s see how the buyers react to the survey and I’ll take it from there. BTW, to tone this down, I have amended the review title to “DIFFERENCES OF OPINION”

Initially we appointed another company and they let us down. In stepped Dunham Hale Surveyors last minute and they booked the survey appointment within an hour of speaking with them. They explained that the results would take a few extra days than normal due to the short notice appointment. We were happy with this as we had a verbal report the day after the survey. In summary, excellent service. Detailed report, good comms and very pleased. Managed to get 8.5k off property so extra pleased. We will certainly use again but not the original company.

The lamp is great! I am using it for doing puzzles. Before, I had to turn on all three lamps in my den and move the two floor lamps close to the puzzle table and, even then, there were shadows. I can see so well with my Electra lamp. Will use it for knitting as well. I can reposition it and change light color easily. It was delivered promptly, as well. I am very happy.

I found Insulation Express online and was not sure what to expect. The prices were good and I placed the order, unfortunately, my builder had given me the wrong depth for the insulation sheets and I had to call first thing in the morning before my delivery was due and see if they would change some of my order over. They did this immediately and confirmed by email, not only that, they said they would reimburse the difference. Great service and very helpful

Made order online due to competitive price, received email confirmation and delivery date. Later received an email stating delivery would be a couple of days later due to stock delays. The day before delivery I was contacted via phone because there was still one size of insulation boards not available and they offered to send what they had in stock which I thought was fair and I decided to cancel the order for the out of stock items as I needed these boards immediately. Refund was issued on the spot and was in my account 2 data later. Shout out to Chris at the office for sorting this out and Phil the delivery driver who was excellent.

Ordered some insulated plasterboards and took the day off work to await delivery. Received a text on the morning of the delivery with an ETA. About an hour later I received another text just saying “sorry, your delivery will now be tomorrow”. I took the next day off work, again to await delivery. The order did indeed arrive… with two badly damaged plasterboards! I emailed customer services to advise who, in fairness were very helpful, and said they would send replacements. Over the weekend I decided to place another, larger order, on the basis that the two replacement boards could be shipped together with the new order. I duly received a new delivery date, for which I took the day off work to receive the goods. On the morning of the delivery, unlike the previous order, I didn’t receive a confirmation text so I phoned the depot and they told me there had been an admin error and my delivery was on its way. A couple of hours later, I received another text saying my delivery would now be the following day! I phoned customer services (fuming) and they advised me that, yet again, their vehicle had broken down! I explained that I’d taken the day off work again and that it wasn’t good enough. They managed to arrange the delivery for later on that day and, again in fairness to customer services, they did their best to be helpful but this sort of thing shouldn’t happen in the first place… certainly not twice! Later that day the driver delivered my goods but just dumped them in the driveway, refusing to help me lift them into my garage as, in his own words, he was on a strict time schedule!!! He also advised me to buy directly from SGS in the future as Insulation Express are simply an office based ‘middle man’ and e-commerce operation, sourcing products and materials from a range of suppliers depending upon who can offer the best price on any given day. Moral of the story… you may pay slightly more but by going to one of the more reputable building supply companies, at least you will be dealing with the actual stockist. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t deal with Insulation Express again. Just a good job I wasn’t a commercial builder waiting on-site for my suppliers to turn up!

Placed an order for some insulation, had the order confirmed only to be contacted the day before delivery from Chris on customer services stating they don’t deliver to where we live. Even had the cheek to try and charge £204 for a courier. It clearly states in their FAQ’s that they deliver to mainland Uk and any orders over £300 get delivery free. Our order was over £600 and in west wales. Complete cop out. Used insulation superstore instead and had no problems and worked out cheaper so every cloud

An absolute sham of a company Placed an order paid for it (£617) and it showed it qualified for free delivery as it was over £450. Just to be contacted after they took our money by email, to request a further £60.00 for delivery as the order is coming from 2 separate places . Honestly, disgusting customer service. Beware: as I refused to pay extra for the delivery, as on the website it states that is the price you pay , they don’t warn you about any extra charges, they have cancelled my order and now I have to wait days for a refund before I can place another order with another company. In all honesty it feels like a scam .

Bought some Celotex PL4000 insulation boards. Good price. Driver was a nice guy and very helpful. Tracking provided was v good with a live map showing location of the delivery truck. Overall couldn't be better.

Easy to use website with clear descriptions and notes warning about some products delayed lead-times. Very helpful on phone when requesting an ETA for non-stock item which allowed me to choose an appropriate delivery date. Our customer then cancelled the job and Insulation Express didn't quibble about refunding me in full within a couple of days.

I had 8 canadian 500w solar panels with a 5kw battery installed on my 3 bedroom home at a very competitive price, logan was very transparent with the cost and guided us to research the system proposed to gain a full insight. I now obtain an average of 75% of my electricity from these which is much higher that the quoted average. Very much appreciated and would highly recommend energy hero's again.

I broke a golden rule of never dealing with doorstep callers,however I did in this instance and am extremely pleased that I did as from first contact to completion of the installation has been a worry free and pleasurable experience due to all persons involved.I was always kept well informed of when things were to take place and how they were to be done.I am extremely happy with the installation and look forward to having a smart meter fitted soon so that I can enrol for the the smart export guarantee.I would like to finish with a thank you to all Energy Heroes persons involved. Energy Heroes have been impressive from first contact through completion of installation to after sales service. Their technical advisor fully appraised us of all the available options and guided us to those most suitable for our circumstances. The installation team arrived promptly on the agreed date and they were efficient, courteous and fully aware of working in a home environment. Their work was completed within a day with the minimum of disturbance and all working debris cleared. Finally, the office team assisted us with the application for our energy export agreement with our energy supplier. Our 4kWh solar panel system has generated just over 1MW in the 10 weeks after its installation on the last week of March and we are confident that it will prove to be a a good financial investment. We can certainly recommend Energy Heroes as installers.

Be careful - They will not accept returns after 14 days (even if unopened). This is no use at all if your plumber is delayed (in this case over Christmas) and you don’t start work and spot that the parts are incorrect in time. Yes I know its in the small print but in future I’ll keep to suppliers who I know are generally reasonable.

First call - a delightful, friendly lady on the phone who was extremely helpful in getting me an appointment as quickly as possible. The engineer was very cleanly dressed and presented with a polite manner. He was very efficient in solving our blocked drainage problem which is not easy on our land.

Very swift, reassuring response to my call about blocked kitchen drain. The plumber arrived promptly, identified the problem and thoroughly cleared the blockage. Both the telephone operator and the plumber were efficient, informative and polite throughout. Everything was completed within two and a half hours of my call.

I was able to get a plumber the next day after calling. I could have had a plumber the same day but I was not available. Note there is a call out charge of £42, even for non-emergency calls. The plumber, Andrew, was efficient, carried out all required tasks to a very good standard and left no mess. The downside was the price, which was more than I expected. But I know waiting for a plumber to be available at a cheap price can be a lengthy business.

Super-efficient service - my boiler was fixed on the day it broke, and at a time to suit me. The person who speedily fixed it and went to buy new part was very knowledgeable. I was very impressed all round.

Terrible company. Kept me waiting a whole day then cancelled at 6pm. Arrived in the afternoon next day to fix toilet and service boiler. Charged £237 for a simple toilet fix then wanted another £440 to service the boiler, but thank goodness he didn't have time. Cancelled boiler service, got a local plumber who charged £90 for boiler service and said toilet fix would've only cost £60. Absolute rip off. Charge 4 times what normal plumbers charge. Save yourself a hundreds and book local.

Engineer turned up the same day.Completed my service and gas check on the boiler and left his working area tidy.

efter 8 måneder med airtox sl55 går sålen fra selve skoen så min fod er ved at kravle ud. skoen har aldrig været brugt til andet end stillestående montage arbejde på fabrikken og lidt på knæ i ny og næ. har manger år brugt tilsvarende i HKSDK i et meget mere barsk miljø og har aldrig haft dette problem. mange kollegaer har samme problem med den model. dog ikke dem med de helt bløde almindelige skosåler. simpelthen for billigt produceret men prisen er helt i top. vores virksomhed stopper med at bruge airtox sko grundet dårlig kvalitet. og de er hverken til at hugge eller stikke i forlyder det fra forhandlerne. disse sko burde gå til det halve af hvad de gør.

Billigt lård kunne man jo fristes til at skrive. Men det jo ikke tilfældet. Man går på den lokale tømmerhandel og køber de dyreste sikkerhedssko på hylden. Også holder de ikke engang et år. Store huller ned i stoffet og med en besked om at airtox har afvist reklamationen. De siger så også, at airtox ikke er til at hugge og stikke i når det gælder reklamationer. Jeg køber ikke Airtox igen. Ej heller mine medarbejdere får lov. Skuffet!

Manglede noget Australian Bodycare Foot Spray, som jeg bruger inden jeg skal på arbejde, for at skåne mine kolleger for evt. fodsved. De sidste gange jeg har fundet, og bestilt produktet, har været til henholdsvis 79 og 98kr. pr. flaske + et par dage eller 3's levering. Fandt dem til 50kr. hos 10-4 og tænkte, at det var for godt til at være sandt, men bestilte alligevel, blev oplyst forventet 2 dages levering med GLS. De dukkede op dagen efter. Tilbuddet var lidt for godt til ikke at sikre mig lidt flere og samme oplevelse: De stod foran min hoveddør dagen efter. Hvis jeg kunne give mere end 5 stjerner, gjorde jeg det hellere end gerne. Det eneste uheldige ved købsoplevelsen er, at 10-4 nu er den oplevelse jeg måler andre og kommende køb online ud fra. :D Virkelig imponerende, I har sparet mig for en pæn sjat penge og leveret hurtigere end hvad jeg er vant til. Tak for jer. :)

Har købt en Morsø Forno Gasgrill ved 10-4 (webshop). Efter kun halvanden år skaller malingen af inde i grillen. Det må være essentielt for en grill at malingen ikke skaller af i et produkt der er tiltænkt madlavning. Jeg sender min reklamation til 10-4 som afviser reklamationen med at det er inde i grillen og derfor kun kosmetisk. Selv om det kun er kosmetisk er det stadig en fejl ved produktet. Efter af flere omgange at forklare 10-4, at det ikke kan være rigtigt at maling fra en grill skal skalle af i maden, afvises reklamationen stadig. Køb ikke produkter ved 10-4 og forvent at blive kompenseret ud fra købelovens 2 års reklamationsret, selvom produktet tydeligvis ikke lever op til sine standarder.

Imødekomme kundeservice, der hjalp med guide mht. en reklamation. Inden der var gået 1 time, var sagen afgjort😃 Samt af der blevet ringet tilbage til mig og blev fuldt op på tilbagebetaling 👍🏻

Jeg har købt en af de dyrere kapsave hos 10-4, en Dewalt DWS777, men den saver ikke et præcist 90 graders snit, hvilket jeg har brug for til fodpaneler og gerigter. Efter at have klaget, har deres underleverandør, Brøndum Elektro, udskiftet nogle stumper og justeret den, og selvom det er blevet bedre, saver den endnu ikke præcist. Efter endnu en klage svarer 10-4, at "den ene millimeter kan være svært at undgå helt". 10-4 har indvilget i at forsøge endnu en justering, men de tror ikke selv, at det bliver bedre og nægter samtidig at tage kapsaven retur.

Kører fra Holstebro til Ulfborg for at købe en makita 18v boremaskine. Net prisen er 1415,- og jeg kører gerne der ud for at handle lokal. Jeg ser til min overraskelse at prisen er skiltet til 1395,- 👍👍 Ta’r varen med til kassen og så er prisen 1495,- ?? Dette gør jeg ekspedienten obs på, endda 2 gange og får 2 x svar “ beklager vi ikke lige kan følge med” Det er f….. dårlig stil !!! Nu var jeg kørt til “udkants DK” for at handle lokal men gør jeg det igen ? Har ellers altid fået god service der ude.

Vi ønsker ikke at leverandør kan opgive al ansvar ved at kunne stille varen uden vi kvitterer for stand ved leverance, så derfor har vi ikke valgt denne mulighed. Vi får i en uge fra bestilling ingen information om hvordan det går med ordren indtil jeg modtager en SMS på at ordren nu er pakket på bilen og bliver leveret senere på dagen. Altså 0 dages varsel. 5 minutter efter modtager jeg endnu en SMS om at ordren vil blive leveret i dag eller i morgen. Det er jo helt umuligt at planlægge efter. Så, selvom der er flotte priser, så overvej sikkerheden i at bestille fra 10-4 og deres mangel på kommunikation. Har aldrig oplevet det så ringe.

Jeg har reklameret over en Makita 18V boremaskine og har ingen reaktion fået. Gentagende gange har jeg forsøgt at kontakte dem på telefon men bliver afvist
