I purchased ten 9x9 red quarry tiles to match existing window cill tiles around the house. They arrived in good time, but three were broken in transit, despite good packaging (they are quite heavy). When contacted the Commercial Manager immediately offered to send five more tiles out free of charge. Excellent communication and customer experience, very friendly and helpful, cannot recommend them enough.

When choosing a company for a loft conversion, we did the obvious thing and got a few companies to quote and discuss the job. We found CS lofts with a simple Google search as we wanted to see if there was a local company to offer another quote for comparison. They had also been recommended on a local community Facebook group. Our project involved lowering the ceilings throughout the house, so it was a significant build, but it was completed on time and within budget. We were really impressed with both the quality and the speed of the build. The team at CS Lofts were great to work with—Tyler and Alex, the builders, were fantastic, and even our dog misses them! Richard and Luke managed the project efficiently and were always quick to respond whenever we had a query or needed expert advice on decisions. CS Lofts is a small to medium sized company and the owner, Richard , is on the ball and highly responsive. They run 3 or 4 jobs at a time so he is able to oversee all activity and has excellent project managers. They handle everything. Planning, architects, engineers and sign-off His first and second fit teams were hardworking, polite, and punctual. His reccos for additional tiling,and decorating have also been good. There have been no major issues and any small issues have been dealt with quickly and professionally. The aftercare and snagging have been well handled.

I would definitely recommend using CS Lofts if you’re considering a loft conversion.  The build was done so efficiently and quick and their advice throughout was invaluable. The whole team have been fantastic – especially as we had some unexpected personal challenges during the build.  We are just completing the decoration and can’t wait to move in.

I did a simple search for "slim water butt" and this came up in the search results. For the specific size and volume it was perhaps the cheapest I could find BUT when it was delivered just a few days later it certainly didn't look cheap! With a 5mm wall thickness it is built to last - unlike the really cheap generic barrels you can get from DIY shops which have a wall thickness of approx 1mm. It includes quality 3/4" BSP brass inserts at both ends so you can easily add your own plumbing accessories as you see fit. I'm very happy with this product.

After having a flat roof fail recently I looked around for a company to replace it. After a number of quotes I spoke to Jake from BB who was more than happy to help me understand the different types of flat roof construction and was more than happy to answer my questions so I understood what was involved and what I would be getting. Compared to other quotes who weren't going to replace the underlying deck BBs included replacing the deck, insulation and another deck below the rubber waterproof layer (warm roof construction). The quote process was very easy (online) and the quote extremely competitive. The build went extremely smoothly and the 2 guys from BB were very professional and pleasant, again willing to answer questions as the build progressed. The end result was excellent and I'd have no hesitation using them again, in fact I am for a couple of smaller jobs.

As a Defective Concrete Block homeowner who had just demolished our house. I was delighted when Kaine proposed a package that would test both the new Concrete Foundations & blocks for all deleterious materials, as we were worried that we could fall victim to same lack of standards in quarries in Ireland (once bitten twice as shy). After coring being completed (about a week after making the call), the cores (from the foundations and block stockpiles onsite) were readied for dispatch to the Lab. Kaine was true to form regarding the results timeframe and a timely msg to say all was clear just before Bison slabs were due to be fitted left us feeling such relief. One week later and a detailed Chartered Engineer & Geologist report was forwarded which scientifically confirmed that our house will be good for generations to come. We have recently had a number of windows replaced by Northumbeian Windows. The ordering process was easy - David and Lee turned up for appointments on time - and we were given all the information and sdvice to enable us to choose the style of windows that we wanted. We were kept informed of the expected fitting date. Lee and his team did a great job fitting the windows, were very respectful of the property and left the house spotless when they had finished. We did get quotes for the windows from one of the large national companies, but Northumbrian Windows blew them away with the quality of the windows offered and their excellent service. The price of the job was very competitive. We are very happy that we chose Northumbrian Windows and love the new windows. Thanks to David, Lee and all the team.

From start to finish our journey with Northumbrian Windows has been nothing but the best. David and his team have been consummate professionals throughout. David helped us choose the right windows for our home and then helped us navigate some planning issues in next to no time (which quite frankly would have taken me an age). As for the installation I can’t praise Lee and his team highly enough. They kept us informed of everything that was going on, always arrived on time and really knew the meaning of the word graft. What really impressed us though was their eye for detail and how everything needed to be just so (even down to the hoovering and tidying up at the end of the day), they even respected our property as if it was their own. I’m not usually moved to write reviews but given the excellent service provided by David, Lee and the rest of the team it would wrong of me not to commend their work.

Brilliant installation from start to finish. David and Lee have been exceptional . The crew are brilliant together and very respectful of the property. I had all of my windows and one door replaced and at the end of each day there was no mess for me to clean up. Communication was great and any niggles are dealt with promptly. The quality and look of the windows is fantastic. My house is so much warmer and quieter after installation. I would highly recommend this company. A very positive experience!

Very friendly showroom with lots of lovely bathroom displays. I was undertaking a full house refurb and Anja spent a lot of time working with me, helping to choose my bathrooms and sourcing alternative options to meet my overall budget. Once the project commenced, there were a few unforeseen issues and Anja was always available and liaised well with Plumb Factory’s recommended contractor (Ian Corbett, who I can also vouch for) and was proactive in finding solutions. We had to make some changes along the way but Anja was very patient and approachable throughout. I am so glad that I chose a local company with personal service and I am very pleased with both the design and quality of the end result.

Excellent Service. After an awful experience, with another supplier and my fitter, I called at the branch in Bolton in absolute despair, the Manager Simon and especially Sonia were very patient and kind. Sonia sat with me for a good hour or so whilst I explained the situation and what we required. They worked miracles to rescue a very difficult situation and called me frequently to update me on the progress. Delivered everything on time as promised, and it was a joy to open every box and find it was exactly what we'd asked for, very unlike the previous supplier (A three digit supplier in the Bolton area located near Volvo). Lovely people, Fantastic Service :-)
