I contacted Sorrel roofers due to having a leak in the roof of my house and they responded immediately. The person was very nice and was in constant communication. On the day he was to arrive to see the roof, he was running a bit late and let me know well in advance! That was a pleasant surprise! The roofer was friendly and got to work right away. He quickly found the issue that was causing the leak. Even though it was late in the day and he had originally arrived just to give a quote, he ended up fixing the issue immediately. Great and friendly service and I would highly recommend them!

Look no further - Tanjent are a small very professional company. I found Tanjent two years ago when I began my research into solar panels which I then parked until early 2024. On reviewing different companies I returned to Tanjent. Their process, quotes and answers to questions seem to be very transparent - unlike some companies which were very gimmicky. There is NO pressure selling. I have a slate roof and although the surveyor sent up a drone, issues weren't apparent until fitters were on the roof to install the panels. It transpired that the whole system had to be reviewed. The reason for only four stars is that there were some snagging/nagging issues in getting the system going properly to which I felt there was a tardy response. However, all the people that I dealt with in the company were always very approachable.

Had Solar and battery system installed back at the start of summer. Tangent we’re very accommodating (helping with the delivery of the panels to our house while we were on holiday). Install went smoothly and after support has been really good ( as we had an issue with a software update on our inverter).

Tanjent quoted us initially for a 3.2KW array and a small home battery at the fullycharged show in Farnborough. The process was very easy and not at all pushy, unlike some of their competitors. After a site survey and discussion, we decided to upgrade to the new GivEnergy All in One battery for the increased capacity and greater power delivery offered. Installing a brand-new product inevitably came with some issues, but the team and their installers efficiently resolved these. We're left with a system that provides us more flexibility than we'd anticipated and works perfectly with the existing EV charger. I would have no hesitation in recommending Tangent, they have been easy to deal with and competitively priced. We'll be back when we add more panels in the future!

I spoke to 4 or 5 solar companies before I found Tanjent. All were either pushy, condescending or wedded to their relatively small comfort-zone of products and inverter sizing (normally 3.6kW to get the easy G98 installation). None were as flexible, zero-push or adaptable as Tanjent. We started with one set of products but had to change this as limitations of manufacturer specs/capabilities revealed themselves (i.e. GivEnergy & their claims for full off-grid instant fall-over capabilities - which transpired were significantly limited). Even on initial install date we found we had a rotten roof which Jason from Tanjent took in his stride. It gave us an option to rethink whether we could go for an in-roof vs on-roof system. All products were top quality, ethically manufactured (something Tanjent prides itself on), all came with the fullest extended warranties and superbly installed. They're not the cheapest installers but to my mind they are the best and I wouldn't go anywhere else if I did it again.

Came across Tanjent at the Fully Charged show last year. Friendly and professional. No hard sell. Quoted for a 6.4KW array (20 panels), batteries (5kwh) and EVCP. Installation was delayed a few months owing to demand in sector but was fitted in Feb. Install was neat and professional and system has been working well/as expected. Only slight gripe was that materials were delivered in advance. We had to keep them secure and was asked to check off against the inventory. Having a construction / technical background I was comfortable doing this although not a simple task nor expected. Overall however, very pleased with the job. Communication was good. I would recommend.

Mention spéciale pour le gel cryogénique, qui hydrate en profondeur (enfin, j’espère). Bon, le WiFi ne marche pas encore, mais je suppose que c’est pas leur priorité dans un environnement à azote liquide. Mon seul regret ? Pas de playlist Spotify pendant mon sommeil cryogénique. After having a flat roof fail recently I looked around for a company to replace it. After a number of quotes I spoke to Jake from BB who was more than happy to help me understand the different types of flat roof construction and was more than happy to answer my questions so I understood what was involved and what I would be getting. Compared to other quotes who weren't going to replace the underlying deck BBs included replacing the deck, insulation and another deck below the rubber waterproof layer (warm roof construction). The quote process was very easy (online) and the quote extremely competitive. The build went extremely smoothly and the 2 guys from BB were very professional and pleasant, again willing to answer questions as the build progressed. The end result was excellent and I'd have no hesitation using them again, in fact I am for a couple of smaller jobs.

I did a simple search for "slim water butt" and this came up in the search results. For the specific size and volume it was perhaps the cheapest I could find BUT when it was delivered just a few days later it certainly didn't look cheap! With a 5mm wall thickness it is built to last - unlike the really cheap generic barrels you can get from DIY shops which have a wall thickness of approx 1mm. It includes quality 3/4" BSP brass inserts at both ends so you can easily add your own plumbing accessories as you see fit. I'm very happy with this product.

When choosing a company for a loft conversion, we did the obvious thing and got a few companies to quote and discuss the job. We found CS lofts with a simple Google search as we wanted to see if there was a local company to offer another quote for comparison. They had also been recommended on a local community Facebook group. We ended up choosing CS lofts because, above all others, they seemed to know their stuff and be genuinely invested in doing right by us. We loved that they are a local, family run business. And this really shows. The quote provided by Richard was competitive and very comprehensive which we were very happy with. We managed to get a build slot earlier than anticipated and CS lofts were brilliant from the start to finish. We were very fortunate to have Benni and his team as our main guys doing the work and we honestly cannot recommend these guys more highly! Right from the start, before any work had started, Benni came to have a chat and a look around. From this point he was giving his ideas and insights which saved us both time and complications later. Our project involved lowering the ceilings throughout the house, so it was a significant build, but it was completed on time and within budget. We were really impressed with both the quality and the speed of the build. The team at CS Lofts were great to work with—Tyler and Alex, the builders, were fantastic, and even our dog misses them! Richard and Luke managed the project efficiently and were always quick to respond whenever we had a query or needed expert advice on decisions. Even our decorator, who has worked with us for years, was impressed with the standard of the work. We would definitely recommend to anyone considering a loft conversion.

CS Lofts is a small to medium sized company and the owner, Richard , is on the ball and highly responsive. They run 3 or 4 jobs at a time so he is able to oversee all activity and has excellent project managers. They handle everything. Planning, architects, engineers and sign-off His first and second fit teams were hardworking, polite, and punctual. His reccos for additional tiling,and decorating have also been good. There have been no major issues and any small issues have been dealt with quickly and professionally. The aftercare and snagging have been well handled.

I would definitely recommend using CS Lofts if you’re considering a loft conversion.  The build was done so efficiently and quick and their advice throughout was invaluable. The whole team have been fantastic – especially as we had some unexpected personal challenges during the build.  We are just completing the decoration and can’t wait to move in.

I purchased ten 9x9 red quarry tiles to match existing window cill tiles around the house. They arrived in good time, but three were broken in transit, despite good packaging (they are quite heavy). We would Highly recommend this company, we found them by accident as we were in the Telford area for the day. Peter Sanders the yard manager was very helpful even though he was obviously very busy. We took some bricks samples to see if we could match them up with an existing building. later that day we ordered over the phone. delivered this morning only 3 days later. the delivery driver was also very pleasant and easy to deal with. We will use you again.

My daughter, Francesca and myself (Norma) visited Ren-New to purchase a chimney pot. This is the third time we have been there. We were served by Kal the first visit, the second by Samuel, and the third by Peter. All three were very professional and helpful. We will certainly back in the future.

Our sample bricks came without delay beautifully wrapped in cardboard carriers as handmade bricks should! The sales team were knowledgeable and very helpful. Thank you.

We have been to Ren-new a couple of times now and each time we have found the team really helpful, knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. They spend time with you to make sure that you find the right material for the job. A bonus is to look out for Bertie the duck who they have adopted and who lives in the big pond in the middle of the yard. We would thoroughly recommend Ren-new as the place to go for building materials.

Can’t recommend highly enough. I emailed to ask if I could buy a small amount of chimnea wood. Pete replied straight away to ask me to pop in. When I got there the staff on reception and on the site were really friendly. Pete drove round in a forklift picking up oak and kindling, filled my boot up himself and refused to take any money. After the recent storm our water butt lid had smashed, i tried to replace this locally at B&Q who "couldn't" sell the lid separately to the butt, [even though that's how they display them] So i took the product name and info and contacted GRAF UK using what's app. Alicia was super helpful and has promptly dispatched a replacement. Restoring my water butt to a it's status of a "cold water tub" complete with new lid. Great job all round
