Becoming a very disappointing company…

Becoming a very disappointing company to use to book cruises. I asked a simple question in the manage my booking section "is there any possibility I can move the deposit I've paid on this cruise to a different one with Norwegian without losing the £100 I've paid?". Logitravel answer "Unfortunately it is not possible to move your cruise without loosing the deposit paid. Following your instructions, please find attached your booking details.". So that's fine as I know now where I stand. Unfortunately, Logitravel can't leave it at that and sends an email with heading of 'Your booking is still LIVE - voluntary cancellation attempt'. I haven't made any attempt to cancel it, I just asked one question. So why does a company feel the need to send a threatening email after someone has asked one simple question and you have given the response. I'm clearly aware that if I decide to cancel the cruise I will forfeit my £100 deposit. Then your email continues to state "If you wish to proceed with the requested cancellation and for it to become effective, we need you to inform us of your final decision through the accept or reject link.". You seem to have clearly forgotten that I asked one question as it says above. Then you feel it's appropriate to threaten me with the possibility of cancellation cost changes, your words "*Remember that the cost of cancellation is subject to possible changes until the time of processing your response. It clearly states on my booking that "Cancellation charge per person cancelling*, if you Cancel more than 60 days in advance - Loss of deposit". My deposit is £100 and the cruise does not sail until the 2nd February 2025. So I have more than 200 days before the ship sails which gives me plenty of time to make a decision. Any new people thinking of using this travel company I would give them a wide berth and look elsewhere.

Holding my holiday to ransom for more money

I went online to book a package holiday, paid the money, had the money taken from my account, received a confirmation email stating "we are pleased to attach the confirmation for you forthcoming holiday". The next day I received another email stating "we cannot confirm your booking...click on the link to see the alternative we can offer". The alternative they offered was the same holiday with everything exactly the same, only they wanted another £170. So my two options were to pay £170 extra for an already paid for holiday or pay the 25% (£850) cancelation fee. The phone number on the email just kept ringing for over an hour and I had to Google another phone number for them to get through to someone. He then said that some of the email was right and some of it was wrong. The confirmation email wasn't a confirmation email and just to say they are trying to book the holiday over the next 48 hours, so why does it say confirmation then? The cancelation fees on the email don't apply yet, even though it clearly says they do on the email terms and conditions. So he said I can either cancel the holiday altogether or pay the extra. Don't want to go through another experience like this for what is meant to be an exciting time for everyone involved.

Disappointed with my first…

Really disappointed with my first experience using logitravel. At first they seemed really helpful and efficient to help us book a cruise. We talked about travel destinations for this year and options. After going through many different date options and itineraries (as we were limited due to other commitments) we came across what seemed a suitable choice. What we had not realised was that those travel dates were for the following year as they are all displayed together with this years dates. At no point did the agent point this out to us even tho it was known that we were looking at options for this year. He even helped us with transfers from airport, hotel etc. So now we have flights and hotel booked for 2024 but a cruise for 2025!!! I've tried to get assistance from them and they haven't even bothered to reply to my email or help us with solving this issue. Either way what ever I try to cancel I'm losing a lot of money and no support from them at all. This is totally unacceptable and I would have expected a more professional service!

Its now two weeks since my last review

Its now two weeks since my last review, still no signs of getting my 1184 pounds back. Since my last review, i was asked to put a "claim" into Logitravel.com? First of all why should i have to " claim" my own money back?, and it was Logitravel.co.uk who have my money, which i, and cruiseline PnO have proven you have my money! Now then, instead of passing me from pillow to post, just give me my money back what you owe me. Absolute atrocious customer service.

Booked a family cruise through Logitravel and Iris was superb right from the the first phone call, nothing is to much trouble for her, she has plenty of time for you, and very informative, she's very polite without being over the top, this is the first time I have used Logitravel but because of Iris it wont be the last.Thank You Iris

Iris has been with us from day one

Iris has been with us from day one, everything I've asked she has sorted or found out and put right for us. Its been a while since booking a holiday like this so Iris has been wonderful in helping me out, she's so patient. Will probably be on to her a few more times before we travel, but she's given me a lot of confidence in booking with this company, She's a credit to them.

Good Customer assistance

Having used Logitravel once before to book our first cruise we started looking for our next one but having left it to within 3 months of our preferred travel dates the choice of cabin type and ship in the location we wanted was in very short supply. Iris saw we were looking and contacted us to offer assistance. She provided lots of options and was very patient with us. We eventually got exactly the cruise and cabin we wanted. Iris put cabins on hold for a few days whilst we made our final choice. We now have a great cruise booked for Feb 2024 and can't wait.

Iris was extremely helpful

Iris was extremely helpful, very professional , and patient. This is our first cruise, and Iris helped in finding us the best cruise, at at a great price. Friends of ours have been on many of cruises, and this year we are joining them. They too cannot praise Iris enough. We look forward to going on our cruise, and will certainly be speaking to Iris on our return to book another one
