Kingston Lacy National Trust estate well worth a visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed 4 hours in and around the Kingston Lacy house and estate. We arrived in our 7m long motorhome and found plenty of parking for larger vehicles. The NT reception staff were cheerful and very helpful. We visited the house on a time slot with plenty of options available. The house interior is beautiful, well maintained and full of original antiques. All floors were open to visitors. Enthusiastic guides provided interesting details about the Bankes' Family history, art collection and antiquities. Having enjoyed a lovely lunch in the Stables café, we set off on a 3 mile flat gravel woodland trail that is well signposted. There are a number of shorter walks and at this time of year, colour is guaranteed in the form of cherry trees, tulips, daffodils and other spring flowering delights. A visit to Kingston Lacy is a must for young and old alike.

Abysmal service

Abysmal service. Tried to get senior membership after being members for many years. Tried to phone numerous times, emails unanswered and yes they debited our account with the full amount. I’ve sent details to Watchdog and I suggest those that are having the same experience do likewise.

Greedy National Trust

Don't bother going to Formby beach, in Merseyside..as you will be fleeced for a whopping parking fee by the National Trust. Drove up, parked up, only for a machine to demand that you download an app..in order to pay a whopping £7.50. We just got back into our car, and drove away. Went to Crosby, where it was free. Racket!

Terrible Customer Service

I have tried over the past few months to cancel my membership with the National Trust which was set to renew on April 4th. The phone lines are not open at convenient hours and have appalling wait times to get through to someone (over an hour). I've emailed two customer service departments trying to get this sorted out and only received an automated message with a case number attached. The renew date has been and gone - The National Trust has taken payment for 3 memberships that we don't want at £252! Awful customer service.

Visted Stoneywell on the 31.3.23

Visted Stoneywell on the 31.3.23. It was an excellent visit mainly due to the professionalism and knowledge of the property shown by the staff. The only gripe was the cafe. Despite the very kind and attentive staff it has limited produce on sale and you can clearly see that the National Trust HQ does not support them in this venture. It would have beeb very nice if they supplied 'homemade' produce instead of the highly manufactured bland produce that they had on sale. However this property overall is highly recommended for a visit anytime of year.
