Really awful customer service
Really awful customer service; bought membership for my husband and I two years ago, for his birthday. We moved just before Christmas so I emailed customer services to change the address. It’s now march and still hasn’t been done! I have tried to contact them through a number of avenues and I’ve only had one reply to say they can’t find my emails and asking me for information, which I replied with within the hour but still waiting. Will be cancelling my membership. Really awful customer services.

Pay for 12 months and only get 11
Thought I would treat some family members to a gift subscription. Pay for a year and membership card comes with only like 11 months use on! Try to phone and they no longer using the phones as they are working from home. Send an email and it could take up to 2 weeks for a response. This issue will never get solved!

Bought a Family membership for my son in December 2022 and still no cards. Made several telephone calls recorded two Customer complaints still not resolved. No one takes ownership of issues. Takes over half an hour to get through on telephone, and then you are told it will take up to ten days for a reply! A commercial would be out of business with this level of service,

I am sad to read so many negative…
I am sad to read so many negative reviews as I have had years of good experience with the National Trust however am having the same experience now and cannot even change my address which has resulted in us receiving no new membership cards. I contacted them via e-mail in January and still no resolution in March. Cannot get through via telephone as apparently they are busy talking to other customers and I give up after 15 minutes! Will have to cancel my direct debit too. :-(

Absolutely disgusted with the national trusts customer service,joined beginning of February and have still not received membership pack!Noone man's the phones,and noone replies to emails! Disgraceful service and would not recommend anyone joining,as some of the national trust staff members query the temporary cards,which only last for a short time,I would not trust the organisation with these beautiful homes and sites going by there unprofessional standards!!

What a shambles
What a shambles, wish to cancel membership as we’ve visited all the local sites many times. Emailed a few weeks ago to cancel, so when the new membership card and handbook turned up I thought, I’d better call them. Been on hold 35 mins so far, and whilst waiting, thought I’d just check the reviews on Trustpilot. Oh dear. What a shame 😔

Appalling customer service
As before, we paid for membership for 3 grand-children on 7th February and are still waiting for 1 membership pack. Attempts to call their 0800 number get no response - have been on hold for at least an hour in total. We think the phone lines are unmanned.

Same as others terrible service
Same as others terrible service, Tried to renew a joint senior card since January. Usually when you ring up they say you are 49th in queue ! or they are not answering the phone and concentrating on e mails. If they do answer the phone they say they need to refer it and someone will ring back of course nobody rings back. I did send a couple of e mails 5 weeks ago no reply. Somebody should be resigning over this. This is the worst I have known in any organisation
