One star is to much, was quoted £144 so this man turns up, first words can I use your carsey, then lifts up man hole says I can’t get rods in there, why I’m not sure as another company has before, then says he would have to use jet wash another £395 I did say no are you taking me for a mug, at that point he said if I paid cash what could I afford and he will do it for about half price and not go through the company at that point being just myself and my 86 year old mum I asked him to leave,when I was told he wouldn’t leave my property until payments were made, he then told be don’t play the victim, i told him I would pay he hovered outside my back gate still shouting don’t play the victim love, I called another company who charged only £70 call out and the cover on the drain was blocked lifted it out the drain water flowed. Do not use this company there a rip off Also I have before and after photos when dial a rod came to prove it was drain cover only, I am now going to 3 counties radio and to trading standards,

I had a hideously blocked drain that was causing rainwater to back up under my kitchen door. Charlie arrived within an hour or so and assessed that I needed more than just a rodding job. The office were helpful and arranged to have the drain jetted and a cctv camera sent down at a reasonable price. The blockage was cleared throughly and the cctv has confirmed that the blockage is gone completely and don’t return during heavy rain, which has happened before. Happy with this service and I’d recommend.

Following on from the genuine reviews as I think 5 star ones are redirected from something else. Thought I was speaking to Dyno Rod, they didn't correct me. Later they told me they were sister company, then told me they were competitor then that Dyno Rod forward surplus work to them. Call out fee of £144 to unblock drain. No action was taken until I paid further £750. Plumber jet washed the pipe and left in 10 minutes with drain still blocked. Customer services got very aggressive when I called asking for plumber to return and being clear I refused to pay extra. Plumber returned and under my guidance found cause of blockage ( a broken cap) which he hastily stuck back in and the drain was unblocked. Within days drain was blocked again because of same issue so I bought plumbing kit and fixed myself. Leave this company well alone whole experience was intimidating

I need to say I can't believe the 5 star they have to be fake or the only time the engineer was honest. The amount of one star reviews with all the dame stories of intimidation and rip off prices. Trading standards are looking into all the times they have scammed many clients. They were shut down by watchdog in 2010 hopefully they will be shut down again!

£750 to replace a tap. Would not provide an itemised invoice. Tap cost £110. Just a scam set up to dupe Pensioners. KEEP AWAY

The worst service I have had in a while. The technician damaged my pipe while he was working and then sent me the bill for his mistake. This is unheard of! On the job he pointed out other jobs that needed doing whilst stating ‘but that’s non of my business’ no professionalism whatsoever. I wouldn’t advise using this company

Thinking we had called Dyno Rod we ended up with PM247, allegedly dealing with DR’s overload. We were quoted £120 + VAT for a visit. A blocked kitchen sink escalated to £714 following the 10 minute visit. I’m 84 and I guess they thought they’d seen me coming. I’ve installed eleven showers and several sinks and loos over the years and I know that nothing they could do to a straightforward sink blockage would cost over £700. We were being ripped off, big time. These people sail very close to the wind, and must dupe loads of people in this manner. DO NOT EVEN THINK OF CALLING DYNO ROD.
