Wish I'd have read the reviews before…

Wish id have read the reviews before buying. I placed an order on 12th July hoping I'd be able to enjoy a patio in my garden this summer.... No such luck. After three weeks of placing the order I'd still not received the goods. I emailed chasingvit up, they said their hauliers had gone bust and they'd have acdelivery update for me hopefully the following week. 2 -3 weeks went by, still no word, chased them again... "Sorry for the delay we will hopefully have an update for you next week"... No update the following week, so I cancelled. It'll take 14 days for accounts to process the refund, then 3-5 days in the banking system. 4 weeks later, nothing.... So i read the reviews... And there's loads of others just like me! I went to my bank and filled in the Consumer Rights Refund claim form, the bank has just paid mycrefund into my account, phew! Maybe next summer i will get to enjoy my garden! Avoid this company.

BEWARE...I'VE HAD A TERRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE WITH NO DELIVERY AND NO REFUND WHICH SEEMS TO BE THE NORM! UPDATE It's now 29 September and, surprise, surprise, still no refund. I've been asking if they've processed it but they've ignored all emails...NOT A GOOD SIGN OF ME GETTING MY MONEY BACK ANYTIME SOON! Now kicking myself that I didn't check out their feedback first! PLEASE NOTE: I left previous feedback for this company who didn't like something I said, (strange they can complain to trust pilot so quickly but can't deliver goods or process a refund without substantial delays and excuses! So here's a review with my actual factual experience without opinion and I'll leave you to decide if they're a good company to shop with. I placed an order totaling £824 for paving on 5th September with a 7 to 10-day delivery time. I received a customer service ticket saying I would be contacted within 24 hours. Never was and after waiting was advised by Saleena that they had logistic problems and I would have to wait 14 days. After waiting and hearing nothing I tried to telephone them. Unable to get the right department who didn't answer I got through to their sales team who reminded me that I had gone through to the wrong department. I explained the right department wouldn't answer and was told someone would call me back in the afternoon but they did not. Emailed again and asked for a delivery date and said I would need a refund if they couldn't deliver. Saleena replied saying (and I quote) "As explained on a previous email we have logistic delays at the moment, we are working to get your order out as quickly as possible. As soon as we have a delivery date we will update you. Of course, if you should wish to cancel please just let us know by email and we can of course get that arranged for you". After seeing all the other bad feedback they had received, I decided on a refund and asked that they advise me when the refund was processed and to provide the banking and payment references for the refund. I was told by Saleena (and I quote again) " Thank you for your request. I have canceled your order and sent it to accounts to process the refund. Refund can take up to 14 days to process, although accounts try to get them processed quicker, and then the banking systems usually takes 3-5 working days". Being concerned about the timescale to even process my refund, let alone receive it I asked my cardholder for advice. They told me that LEGALLY THE REFUND MUST BE IN MY ACCOUNT within 15 days. So their assertion that it could take 14 days plus 3-5 days is wrong and not legal. Advised them what my cardholder has said but they've so far not replied. As yet, I've had no refund notification, let alone a refund. In my own online retail business, we process refunds within 24 hours, and with the new faster payments, refunds usually appear in customers' accounts within 2 hours. So I really have trouble understanding why they take up to 14 days to even process a refund, let alone pay it into my account. So now I have my wife complaining that I have no paving for her garden, and no money refunded to my account, and left wondering if and when they may process the substantial amount of money due to me. My only consolation is that I can see from the feedback left by so many other customers that I am not alone in my experience. My advice to Paving Superstore is rather than complaining about feedback you don't like, try giving decent customer service. If you can't start by delivering goods as promised, at least process refunds without delay. Perhaps someone from Paving Superstore can actually reply to this feedback and explain why they need to take up to 14 days plus up to another 5 days to put my money back into my account. REPLY TO Paving Superstores reply: You said all orders that haven't been canceled have been delivered, but then say there are orders that have been delayed...In other words not delivered contradicting what you said! The whole idea of selling is to sell and deliver the goods, not experience lots of canceled orders which seems to be the case here and only leads to a Company gaining a bad reputation, as is clearly the case here...Which more often than not, leads to a company going bust due to lack of income! ALSO...Please keep the facts straight about what my feedback says...I haven't made any premature accusations about the refund, I just quoted what Saleena at your company stated and what my card payment provider has said. That said, I am concerned to see all the other feedback you've had from customers who have waited far longer than 14 days and still haven't had a refund. Doesn't seem to bode well for me does it?. If you really wanted to you could process all refunds within 24 hours but clearly, you would rather continue to upset customers like me by holding onto our money as long as possible.

TERRIBLE COMPANY! AVOID AT ALL COST! They can't deliver your order, leaving you wondering if you'll ever see your money again!

No way to run an honest business. Yes, I've had the same bad experience as everyone else here recently. Placed an order with 7 to 10 day delivery, I got a customer service ticket saying I'll be contacted in 24hrs about delivery, but wasn't, then no delivery, just excuses from someone called Saleena about so called logistics problems. Told deliveries were taking 14 days but that doesn't happen either. Then they're almost impossible to get on the phone but if you do get through they fob you off, saying someone will call you back about your order, which they don't do. After seeing the recent reviews I asked for more specific information about delivery or a refund if they couldn't give such information. Now waiting for a refund and told it will take 14 days to process then 5 days to reach my account. Suspecting this is a scam I contacted my card payment provider who said they legally have to get the money into, my account within 15 days and they will cover me if they don't. Told Paving s/s what they said but they didn't reply. As the owner of an online business I can say I would rightly expect to be out of business if I acted anything like this company. Their cash flow seems to be reliant on using customers order money as an unofficial interest free overdraft to get them through the month and I suspect there long, long refund time is given in the hope of new orders being placed to cover the refund due to me. Or maybe they hope I'll forget about it so they keep my money. I've emailed them several times asking about my refund but they don't reply. I guess the next thing I'll hear is that they have issues with their card issuer or something along those lines. Seriously, don't use them. I've even had my wife ask if I've been scammed, which I hope is not the case. As you will see from other reviews, I am not alone in my experience, and my advice is STAY AWAY AND BUY FROM ANOTHER COMPANY THAT WILL DELIVER AND VALUES THEIR CUSTOMERS AND REPUTATION because this company clearly doesn't.

Oh dear. How I wish I had read these reviews. I too am experiencing terrible service, no delivery, no information. Nothing. I am having to cancel my order because there's absolutely no indication of when I might receive delivery and I have contractors waiting on the flags. They clearly use a pallet network service, just as I do in my work. So they are without equivocation working a scam because pallet networks offer tracking and well defined deliveryinformation and feedback. I've no idea how my cancellation/refund will work out. I paid by debit card. Update. I'm prepared to admit I was probably rather hasty in my judgment. It was borne out of frustration at the lack of any delivery information. However, I appreciate they were experiencing logistical issues. It has to be noted that their communication has since been absolutely superb; refund paid with no issues whatsoever. So please ignore my original post. Just right place, wrong time and I would not hesitate to try using them in future.

Terrifyingly bad

2.5 months since I placed the order. 18 days since I finally saw through the constant excuses for non delivery and requested a refund. Now I must get Klarna and the credit card company involved. What a waste of time, just cancel the order when the customer asks you to do so. Apparently in paving superstore land Refunds can take up to 14 days to process, although accounts try to get them processed quicker, and then the banking systems usually takes 3-5 working days. What planet do you live on?

Slabs not received and waiting for refund!

Placed an order for patio slabs on 1st Aug, chased constantly as no delivery received. Finally gave up on them and requested a refund on 4th September and still waiting for my money to be refunded. Been told today that refund was issued last week but there is a problem as they had changed card processors and that I should receive refund by middle of next week! Placed an order with a different company and patio slabs received a week later and now laid. Just want my money back!!! Also made the same review on their Facebook and Instagram page and they have blocked me!! In response to your reply: No proof of refund has been received and I have not been advised to contact my card provider. Ben from accounts has said that he would “keep an eye on this and provide a better idea of when it will be processed if he could” I have now contacted my card supplier and they have said as soon as the merchant submits the refund they will post the refund within the next 24 hours so this issue is you not them. With regards to the Facebook posts, it was posted several times as I don’t seem to be getting anywhere in getting my refund which seems to have gotten your attention, but now being blocked doesn’t let your Facebook followers know what an awful experience I, along with others are experiencing with your company! Update - Refund finally received 21 days from when requested!!

Don’t use this company EVER

Don’t use this company. They won’t send you the items, then they will lie and say they have sent refunds but they never do. They even lie over the phone! Avoid at all costs. Don’t believe the below, I have had no refund!! They gaslight you constantly to extend the time so they cannot be investigated by the bank. This is apparently the manager replying to all the trustpilot comments, he is a liar! Updated to add that the only way I have got my money back is to report it fraudulent with my bank and they have stepped in to investigate. I would advise anyone else in a similar position to do this. The company are an absolute disgusting bunch of liars

Do not use this company... no delivery and no refund

AVOID at all costs! I've very rarely left a review for any company however Paving Superstore have to be the worst company I've ever dealt with. Ordered in July and same as other reviews we kept getting pushed back with no delivery dates given, after 6 weeks order was cancelled and promised refund but this hasn't come through either and the just keep giving excuses. AVOID!!!!

Cancelled our order as we could not wait any longer. We were promised a refund within 14 days which is now approx 20 days and we still dont have our money back. Lady on the phone said it has been processed but i have not received it. Awaiting a call from Bruce Read the Director.

No transport, poor comms, uncertain refund

I ordered black limestone slabs from Paving Superstore on a 7-10 day lead-time. After 14 days I contacted them to say I hadn't received a delivery date. They said that they had stock but couldn't arrange transport to me (I live in the Midlands, 1m away from the A50). They continued to not be able to provide a delivery date until 5 1/2 weeks after my order date, at which point I asked to cancel and receive a refund. Its difficult to believe a company specialising in selling and delivering heavy materials can't arrange delivery of their products over this time period. In every case I needed to pursue them for an update, as they never provided one proactively. They agreed to a refund but stated it would take up to 14 days processing time plus 5 days bank processing time to issue a refund. In these circumstances (now being uncertain if I'll actually receive a refund) I've needed to go to the hassle of asking my credit card company to pursue a refund from them. I'd very much stay away from them.
