Unable to return item and phone line terrible

I ordered a product that I later found out was not the one I needed. The returns policy is that you should be able to return within 14 working days, however despite contacting them and organising a return with customer services (they were due to send a courier) has never happened so I am now unable to return the product. They did however manage to cancel an order for me, but that is because it takes so long for items to be despatched that it hadn’t even been processed, although ordered the week before! The telephone lines are also very busy and it took me an hour to get through to anyone and then I got cut off. P.s. the reply to my review Unfortunately I was communicating with someone called Toni, I did also receive a generic email on the 4th, (actually reviewing my emails I never received an email on this date) and they were organising a courier for me, as that was the person I got cut off from on the phone. The return was never organised. The bottom line is that the customer service needs to be improved and the ability to return items made simpler

COWBOYS BLAMING INDIANS!!!

I ordered 64 square metres of porcelain slabs on March 7th and my confirmation email said delivery would be 3-4 working days, possibly longer due to Covid. Fair enough I thought, could be a couple of weeks. How wrong could I be. At the end of March ( Having heard NOTHING from paving superstore!), I emailed them for an update? A few days later I received a reply with them blaming Strata for not having stock?? and hopefully new stock should be in by the end of April POSSIBLY. They then offered me an alternative that cost SLIGHTLY more. I don't class £400 as slightly. Plus, having lost my first landscaper, my second one said it would take longer to lay/use more grout due to them being mixed sizes. I asked, reasonably I thought, if they could at least match the price then I would pay my landscaper the extra just so I could get a patio laid. Their reply quite frankly stunned me. They claimed that after conferring with their landscapers that it wouldn't take much longer to lay and use no more grout!! Anyway, I decided to keep the order and sit April out as my second landscaper could rearrange jobs and do it then. The only thing I asked them to do was keep me updated. On 24th April I emailed again to get an update as it had been 7 weeks at that point and, surprise surprise, not a single update from them. Their latest excuse was the pandemic in India! I thought this strange as at the time I placed the order 55,000 people were watching India play England a test match. Such a lame excuse AGAIN. My second landscaper had to move to another job so that was me embarrassed again. Enough was enough so I had a look around for an alternative. Found a cracking deal on bank holiday Monday (3rd May) and got fantastic service with live chat knocking 5% off which pretty much brought it down to the original price. I chose my delivery day as Friday and they were delivered 100% intact. I emailed paving superstore asking to cancel my order and refund me in full. A week on and still waiting so will give them a few more days before taking further action. Hope this helps others not making the mistake of trusting these amateurs. GO ELSEWHERE PEOPLE!!!!!

I wish I had never ordered from these charlatans

Our entire Paving Superstore experience has been shockingly bad. Our order was out of stock, after spending literally hours on hold we were lied to every day for a week about when it would actually turn up. We have now incurred additional costs due to the very late delivery of half of our order, I have contacted customer services and literally the second I said I'd like to complain the person I was talking to just disappears. I wish I could give no starts and I wish I had never ordered from Paving Superstore.

Just received our patio slabs and they look beautiful, I’ve only given 4/5 because of the delivery, we waited in on Friday and it didn’t arrive, the depot said it had forgotten to book it in. then today when the van arrived there was no way to get the pallet off the van. Fortunately my husband had a crow bar to break the pallet so we could remove the slabs one by one. The delivery man was nice but not sure what his plan would have been if we were unable to help.

Paving Superstore

Paving Superstore, my slabs arrived within 11 days and were undamaged. Having looked at the reviews on here, I was rather worried as the reviews were certainly very mixed. The slabs I ordered are great just what we wanted. My issue with this company is the communication. When I originally wanted to order these slabs, I phoned up to see if they were in stock, or if there was a wait. It took me an hour of holding on on the phone to be answered and I was told they were in stock and there was no issue with getting them and to booked online. This I did and it clearly states delivery is free but when I got to checkout there was a £10 delivery charge. I then did not hear anything from Paving Superstore, so after 8 days I emailed them to see when they were going to be delivered and they said tomorrow. We stayed in all day, as with such a big heavy item we needed to be here to instruct where to leave them, and they didn't come. They did arrive the next day via carrier Gregory's and the delivery driver was very helpful, and placed them where we asked. My issue is that there is no communication between Paving Superstore, the customer, and the delivery company. They need to look at companies like Amazon, so that customers are kept informed of the status of their order .

I have placed a pre order but instead of taking my order in August when it is due for delivery they have taken it in April. The money should be held as pending.

Good quality product, good experience.

Easy to use website, well organised. Good value products. Easiest if you want a full pack as otherwise you have to telephone to request a split pack. Kept fully informed by email all the way through. Slight hiccup at the delivery hub as they overlooked my delivery and I had to ring to sort it out. Actual delivery was ok in the end. The van arrived within the time slot. Theoretically had 20 minutes to unload the pallet and check everything but quickly realised it would take a lot longer than that. However the stone slabs were very well packaged in a wooden frame so I decided the risk was low and let the driver go. When I later unpacked the pallet there were no damaged slabs at all out of 192. Very happy with the condition of the product.
