What has happened to Moda?? Bought furniture 6 years ago and had a very happy experience. 6 years later I can't even get their website to take my payment for additional items. After many phone calls that are not being returned when promised and attempts online, I'm giving up the will.

I ordered an Eton dining set ( a table and 8 chairs ) in march 2024. The items were delivered however 4 of the cushions were the wrong size. I was assured that the correct ones would be delivered within 12 weeks. ( ie June ). I still have not received the correct cushions and despite numerous emails and phone calls have made no progress with Moda customer service.

DO NOT PART WITH YOUR CASH!!
One of the worst experiences from start to finish! Waited 10 weeks for an order that we had to enquire about as had heard nothing - told not all items are in stock (table had a manufacturing issue so they were waiting for a new batch of tables to arrive, would be another 4/5 weeks). Happy to accept the chairs though and wait for the table. Chairs arrive a couple of weeks later....2 chairs missing! Back to Moda and guess what, the missing chairs are also out of stock and won't be in until 2025!! As an alternative and by way of an apology they would give us a 2 seater instead. Duly received the 2 seater a week later. Fast forward another 2 weeks and the table arrives (at 7pm - 3 hours later than the confirmed delivery time) and it is the wrong table. And guess what...the table that should be with the set we ordered is out of stock until 2025!! So we have waited 15+ weeks for an order that has not got the 2 chairs originally ordered and the wrong table - both of which are not in stock now until 2025. Called customer service and wasted hours being hung up on, passed around and basically not serviced as a customer at all. Finally called the Chelmsford showroom where a lady listened, apologized and accepted my request for a full refund and they can come and collect the furniture. Moda Furnishings went into administration last year and were bought by Giomani Designs Limited. The administrators are E&Y and are still actively involved. They currently have £2500+ of my money sat in their bank account (hopefully!). I would steer well clear as it appears to me that they are still in deep trouble and struggling to meet and fulfill customers orders despite taking money. Should also add that I would question a number of these 5 star reviews.....grammar, spelling etc all over the place, clearly not written by customers

Don’t honour any warranties!!! Rubbish
Don’t honour any warranties after “Phoenixing Business” last year. Really annoyed that our £7,000 garden furniture powder coating has faded and the response from the customer services was to buy a replacement as we’re a new business now! Look elsewhere as the warranty isn’t worth the paper was written on and you can buy much cheaper even without the “special discounts” Really poor customer service to say the least, i have already told at least 20 friends and family who were going to buy as they liked the look of ours don’t bother!

I cannot speak highly enough of Parminder Singh's delivery service. He went above & beyond to ensure a smooth & hassle-free experience. Not only did he deliver my furniture to the exact location I wanted, but he also kindly assisted with removing the packaging. To top it off, he even unpacked and assembled my brolley - an unexpected & much-appreciated gesture. Parminder's professionalism & friendly demeanor were outstanding.
