Great bank great service

I have had my money in tandem bank for almost a year and have had no major issues. As with other reviews I did recently request a withdrawal of my account in the new tax year but it took slightly longer than normal just because a lot of other people were likely moving their money to ISAs. They informed me that it would take longer than normal when logging into the app and in an automated message when calling. When I got through on the phone a friendly lady advised it would be complete later today which it has been. Would recommend and depending on interest rates I would be happy to keep my money with them. This was all then followed up with an apology email recognising the issue (which was minimal and only a day or so delayed) and a goodwill payment

Great bank until.........

This has been a great, reliable bank for so so long....However one little blip (I was one of the people transferring money out of my account on 8th April 2024) and my trust in them has gone. I know you will learn from your mistakes, but I've lost money, I've been left red faced and embarrassed. Cheerio

Withdrawal delay - no explanation

I have been a Tandem customer for 2 years. This week there has been a big problem with delayed withdrawals from Tandem. With faster payment it should be instant. My money was in limbo for over 24 hours and Tandem communication was terrible. I will be closing my account.

I no longer trust Tandem Bank

Tandem Bank are clearly experiencing massive issue, which is delaying outbound payments for days. They are choosing to provide no information at all to customers other than "we will fix ASAP". This is unhelpful. They appear to be trying to cover up the problem by not making any public announcement, which is disappointing. Banks prosper based on excellent services, great customer service and above all trust. They have lost my trust.

I have been waiting 2 days for a transfer of funds from Tandem to my nominated account - what is going on. The app will not open a chat window saying no one is available ?

Recent bank transfer issues

Whilst disappointed that a recent transfer is still being processed, the lady I spoke to (Claire) was extremely helpful and assured me that the transfer will be completed today. An ex gratia offer of lost interest is being paid as a result. Handled very well thank you.

Extremely poor payment processes

Extremely poor payment processes. Have my outbound payment not credit to my current account now for over 2 days. Its affecting my monthly payments and its impossible to get in touch with them

Use a recognised bank instead

Better to use a high street named brand rather than this App based bank which appears to be built on unreliable software.

Unacceptable

Unfortunately like other reviews, it’s been 24 hours since I requested a considerable sum of money from my account and even though it has been deducted from my Tandem account, it still hasn’t arrived in my linked account. A short time frame was required, so not being able to transfer the funds within it, is going to have a negative financial effect. In this day and age, this is unacceptable.

Trying to withdraw a large sum of money…

Trying to withdraw a large sum of money from my saving account. The sum was deducted from the app balance immediately and it's now been 48 hours and no sign of the money appearing in my linked current account. We needed the money yesterday so have been let down badly. I'm getting increasingly concerned. The money has now landed in my account.
