Unacceptable customer service

Have now been waiting over 24 hours for a transfer to my bank account. Money is shown as leaving my Tandem account but is no where to be seen. Tried to phone twice but wait times so long had to give up - not good enough & very worrying since I need this money urgently.

Tandem appears to have suffered an IT…

Tandem appears to have suffered an IT failure which has lasted nearly 48 hours so far with no real way of contacting anyone. Large payment withdrawn Sunday which despite being deducted has not reached my bank account. Large number of other customers report similar issues so seems like an IT issue they cannot fix but this is not a satisfactory way to run a bank.

Excessive time to transfer funds to linked accounts

Very disappointed that my withdrawal requested on Sunday still has not been credited to my bank account Update 10/04/2024: I have up-rated my review from 1 to 4 stars due to the prompt reply from Tandem and the general compensation given to customers impacted by the recent withdrawal issue. Normally transfers from Tandem to one of my linked bank accounts happen within minutes, which coupled with the competitive interest rate is why I hold a Tandem account.

FASTER PAYMENTS DELAYS

24 hours after a Faster Payment submission, the funds have not been received in the beneficiaries account. No one available on Web chat. No details provided on app as to when payments will be settled. Poor communication and concerns now about the security of this digital bank.

Requested withdrawal deducted from…

Requested withdrawal deducted from Tandem account but not appeared in bank account 24 hours later. Really shaken my confidence in Tandem. They blame it on some sort of internal error. Put in complaint as needed these funds within a timeframe. Not good enough really so doubt I'll be staying with them.

I needed to make a large payment today…

I needed to make a large payment today so transferred the funds to my nominated account this morning. The payment still hasn’t arrived. This has caused me quite a few problems and maybe charges for late payments. I’d been really happy with Tandem until now but I’m starting to lose faith….

Missing £5000

Transferred £5000 out to pay my card bill to my verified account at 0930am and still not received my money !!! Now I am behind my payment and accumulate late payment fee …. also missing out on my interest !

I tried to transfer some money this…

I tried to transfer some money this morning. I checked this evening and still no money. Went back to tandem. There is a red box stating money will be transferred soon as possible. If my money is not in account by midnight I will incur charges. Thanks Tandem. I will be moving my money to chase now. They now offer 5.1% and are much more reliable. As of 10:08 this morning, still no money. Tandem you owe me interest.

Payment failure

Tried to transfer money to my connected bank account yesterday but haven’t received the sum after 24 hours. Customer service said this would have been sorted within 2-24 hours but it hasn’t been sorted out and now business is closed. This is unacceptable for an app based bank.
