They are scam
They are scam, not trustworthy of your claim, they charge you heavily from your compensation, i will never go back to them, no communication from them and i had keep them chasing for my money after they got full compensation from airlines.
Terrible communication. Impossible to recommend.
I was disappointed with the customer service & communication (or lack of) provided by My Law Matters. I consistently had to chase them for status updates & they actively avoided answering many points I raised. I would certainly avoid if you are a first time buyer & unsure of the process. Plus, the 'online portal' they use is frustrating & pointless. The whole experience was certainly made more stressful due to their poor comms.
Exceptional service
The service from Noreen and her team was exceptional; very quick and courteous, and the best experience I have had with a firm of solicitors throughout many years and many house moves. I would use them again without a second thought.
The company is very poor
The company is very poor, or maybe I'm the only one who found such a hopeless lawyer (JK). the matter of purchasing a house dragged on for over 3 months and was delayed due to the lack of competence or good intentions of the lawyer. Additionally, in each case I had to contact the person handling my case myself, and even though I had a direct number, she still didn't answer the phone and I had to call the office and ask for a call back. Unfortunately, when after 3 months of "cooperation" we were still nowhere near the end and I tried to explain it, "my lawyer" shouted at me and then hung up on me. And finally it turned out that stamp duty had not been paid. Maybe this is not Conveyancing's obligation, but it is the first company (4 houses purchased) that did not do it. Unfortunately, in the case of this company, low price equals low quality. I do not recommend
Go somewhere else
Go somewhere else. I received £1400 back due late take off for me and my wife and 2 grandkids. I received £740 due to this company taking 35% plus VAT of each of us. My own fault I believed most companies take between 20%__25% please check small print
Avoid.
Avoid. First time buyer and absolutely useless. The solicitor basically gets you the papers does not advise you on anything and leaves you to yourself to do everything. The gas was due for rechecking of the property but the solictors being poor quality missed this and cost us money. I believe you should avoid these amateurs
Excellent service and would highly…
Excellent service and would highly recommend. Julie and Penny were available constantly to respond to any queries with both the sale and purchase of properties. They went out of their way to be helpful and push through the exchange and completion. Penny always remained calm and has the most wonderful friendly manner even in stressful situations. Thank you so much.

My Law Matters do not reply to emails or return calls
I used Fentons from Solihull/ Wolverhampton through My Law Matters, to do a straightforward conveyancing transaction. I had nothing to sell and was buying a property. 2 years later and they are not replying to my requests by email, telephone or messaging via their website to resolve some monies they are still holding due to them overcharging me on their final invoice. I was not aware that I had been overcharged at the time and paid the invoiced amount requested. This is worrying as it could happen to many more people and all the more concerning that they do not communicate to resolve. I would like to be writing a great review but unfortunately that has not been my experience.

I have signed up for Conveyancing My…
16th Sep 2023 In the end after raising my concerns I have received a refund for the searches. I have changed then my rating to 4 stars for this reason. Currently waiting for the refund from over a week and this has been confirmed, not idea why Conveyancing network instead which is the competitor with the firm of Whitehorse solicitors refund me immediately on the same day I have reported this. I have signed up for Conveyancing My Law Matters using the conveyancing index website and getting a quote. Before signing up I was informed from both the conveyancing index and My Law Mattters that if the sale it does not go ahead for any unforeseen reason which it is out of my control then the searches for a new property will be not charged again but only the remaining fees until I find obviously a new property and have an offer accepted. I was explained as unforeseen situation include anything that it is not me as buyer to change mind to go ahead with the exchange contracts but related to the vendor or other third party as in this case the current tenant living inside the property refusing to move out from more than 3 months that I been waiting for and despite the landlord-vendor notice given. My current mortgage is expiring soon and apply for a new mortgage will cost me much more as the rates have increased a lot. I have explained the situation to the conveyancing firm which has done already the searches and I have paid for, and they have not agreed so far to what I was confirmed before signing up to the conveyancing index and with them in this case “My law matters” based on Waltham Cross. I find this unfair and misleading as before signing up I have been confirmed this by email correspondence with the conveyancing index and them and over the phone too. Be careful with this firm as they are not keeping their word in terms of what they said before I signed up. What I am experiencing it is an awful situation outside of my control as I am not pulling out but I do not have other choice as my mortgage is expiring soon and I need also to organise my move out should something change providing 2 month notice where I currently rent which it is not realistic as it will cause me a loss of rent of at least of one month. I have informed both the Conveyancing that I am not happy of this decision so far and reminded them that this is not what I was told before signing up, I hope they will confirm and agree on new searches in future not charged again but only the remaining agreed fees, if not I will not have other choice than raise a complain with both and then see what are my legal right
