Not on earth will I ever be using Law Matters nor recommending them to anyone else. The level of incompetency and arrogance is unrivalled anywhere else. By the time they had completed on my right to buy, and even though I knew I was subjected to a high level last minute backhandling charges I simply wanted to get on with my life than continue to have them in my face. It is sad that that is their own revenue strategy in this day and age when a happy customer is willing to pay high premium for a throughly good service. For them its about the money not their reputation nor repeat patronage. Fair enough. At one point their solicitors adviced me to accept a non negotiable clause in the agreement because thats the way it has always been, I actually provided the law that countered that and won, having put my feet down. If not, the clause could have impacted me negatively for the 125 years length of lease, at that point I now knew their capacity level and also felt they had the interest of their seller at heart than their client and reminded them they are working for me and stood my ground and self dedensing em on the matter. From start to finish I can count more than 5 persons working on the case which is not a problem but the changes in personnel without the decorum of knowing to update their client about it was another lack of customer service on their part. Lastly why have a portal if you are not going to maximise it.They never utilized the portal till the end. Then wasting my time chasing them via emails and treating you like you are better of leaving them till they contact you. Not operating on a project turnaround strategy I guess. The rest of us do. I am also never using the financial adviser that referred me to them either. I am needing a traumatic therapy from it all and what should have felt a joy on completing felt like coming out of the trap of a narcarssist. Gosh!

VERY VERY POOR! We came to this solicitor through the Conveyancing Index, another bad move. Instructed them in late April 21 for the quite straightforward sale of a property that the long term tenants were purchasing from us. So no estate agents, no other involved parties, just our tenants buying the property that they were already living in. After being passed to several different 'case workers' , 'fee earners' etc. The sale finally completed on 29th October 21, over six months for what had to be a very uncomplicated transaction. In fairness, once Nila took on our sale things went quite well, although we were 5 months in by then. They then tried to charge more than double the original quote, this they would have done had they not been challenged. The final incompetence was 'forgetting' to transfer the funds of the sale to us on the completion day, we had to wait until the following Monday. After this debacle I will never again use a online solicitor.

I'd received truly awful service until Erim was put on my case. It then took nine days from her taking it on until completion today, and I can't speak highly enough of how diligently she worked and how great her communication was. Thank you so much!
