We received the wrong product—same…

We received the wrong product—same model, but a different color. Unfortunately, returning it and waiting for the correct one wasn’t an option, as our gas engineer’s work was time-sensitive and had to be completed the same day we opened the box (two days after delivery). The product we received had a single-digit difference in its model number, so it seems like an error in the warehouse when picking the item for dispatch. This caused significant inconvenience, especially as it was late at night and already challenging to coordinate the installation. Given our tight schedule, returning the hob and waiting for a replacement wasn’t feasible, as other trades were lined up for related work. This was our first purchase from Hughes. While delivery was fast and the overall service was fine, I wouldn’t buy from them again. Even though mistakes happen, receiving the wrong product—especially for a large item—creates a major hassle, particularly with the logistics of returns. I haven’t contacted them, as I don’t expect they would offer to swap it out themselves, so I’ve had to settle for what we received.

Amazing customer service

Hughes has an amazing customer service. I had a problem with my kettle and the customer service promptly replied to my email and provided me with a solution. They scheduled the collection of the faulty kettle and the delivery of the new one on the same day. I could not recommend them more.
