Great tests
Took a bit longer than previous times but still a great product. I was previously intolerant to yeast so gave that up when I started to feel bloated/sick. But after doing another test it was gluten this time among other things, and now bloating gone and much better. I recommend these test always!
An expensive trick, hoping to use your ailments to take your money
I used this company a few years ago to attempt to solve why I have psoriasis. Having seen them start up a Instagram page reminded me to let people know about my experience. I spent over 100 pounds buying a kit and the results came back. Intolerance to gluten, dairy, alcohol, various fruit and vegetable. A lifestyle I would find almost impossible to maintain. I then shared my information with a psoriasis facebook group who quickly laughed and said these tests have no scientific backing. Then I went to the website and sure enough, in their own fineprint they even admit it themselves. I have since done a genuine gluten intolerence test and I am not intolerant. This company is essentially providing a lie and hoping you wont read the terms and conditions before you pay them.
Clarified my suspicions
The intolerance test confirmed my suspicions particularly with white wines, bread and citrus fruit. I was a bit confused because I could eat white bread and some others with no real issues, but not some mixed grain bread, so I knew it wasn’t gluten or wheat. Turned out to be barley. Sending off the hair sample to be tested was very straight forward and the turnaround was just a few weeks. Excellent service Would recommend others doing the test if for no other reason than to confirm and narrow down suspicions.
The allergy test gave me my life back!!!!
I previously took an intolerance test which confirmed my suspicions about certain foods and deficiencies. So I thought I’d take a allergy test too. I had felt more and more poorly over the last couple of years. I’m 38 and was experiencing hair loss, night sweats (to the point of having to shower in the night), headaches, acne and very painful and heavy menstrual cycles. I was told it was a natural process of getting older. Peri-menopause. I wanted to rule out foods first though. I had fallen ill around 8 years ago and thought it was from soy but I was told it was a virus. So I started eating soy again. I seemed ok but over the years just felt awful, mostly around ovulation and leading up to and during my periods. After the test showed that I was allergic to soy I cut it out straight away. I can honestly say that my symptoms cleared up within about 2 weeks. My skin cleared after 4 weeks. The doctors told me it was just adult acne. That’s been going on for 7 years!!! I have NO night sweats anymore, even while hormonal. In fact no real hormone issues at all. My hair is getting better. Growing back. I feel great. All thanks to this test. I would highly recommend it to anyone who has little niggles or issues just to rule stuff out. Mine is only a mild allergy but was still ruining my body and life. Don’t waste time doing an elimination diet. Find out what the issues are and get rid of them.
Good customer service, but still no answers...
I have struggled with cystic acne for atleast 10 years. Since they arrived, they have never gone away. I have tried countless things and elimination diets to solve this, with no answers. I thought this test would help me find the answer of something I may be sensitive to that would be causing my condition. I got my results back and was surprised by a few things it said I had a reaction to. I emailed them with questions and they were very helpful in helping me understand what I should do next. That was 6 months ago. Since then I have hard-core eliminated many of those problem-items on my results, for atleast 1 month. … Nothing. No difference in breakouts, nor did I notice any other aspects of my health improve. It feels like these results don't share any correlation with my body at all. I’m sorry I wouldn’t recommend this test.
Absolutely garbage
Absolutely garbage set of results, didn't detect any of the allergies or intolerances I know for a fact I have (eg, grass pollen) and have previously been tested for. They gave very high results for foods I know I don't have any problems with. When I contacted them asking if they maybe sent me someone else's results they fobbed me of with a pretty generic email. So I can only assume its a scam as the results made no sense at all. Do yourself a favour and pay the extra for a York test, my Mrs used them and they were spot on.
I recently did a hair test for 800…
I recently did a hair test for 800 allergies/intolerance. The test did not highlight any of the intolerances I have, not one item was correct. I queried this and was advised the test is not based on any medical data so this company is giving out false information and could cause a person to have an acute reaction as the test isn't valid. Trying to get a refund, please don't waste your money !
This is a scam
This is a scam. My result showed I was sensitive to egg whites which I wasn't and that I had no reaction to crab which was the only thing I was allergic to. And they have a 90 day policy which says if you don't complain within 90 days you accept the result. I kept asking for my test before the 90 days deadline but they kept delaying their response until the 90th day.
Intolerance = B.U.L.L.....!
'food intolerance testing' is exactly the same as that other bogus phenomenon 'detoxing'. As the Advertising Standards Authority states on its website "The ASA has previously investigated claims about hair analysis and bioresonance techniques used in food intolerance testing and found there was insufficient evidence to support them." There is no doubt some people have allergic reactions to certain foods. However, if that is the case, then get tested by a proper SCIENTIST after being referred to them by your GP. Don't - just don't waste a penny on these kinds of so called tests.
