Taking the ‘care’ out of Customer Care

I ordered a product first thing in the morning yesterday. I noticed as soon as the order was complete that my old address was used AGAIN. I have tried multiple times to fix this problem and delete the old address but it happens every time I make an order. Silly me for not noticing fast enough this time, I suppose I deserve what I got. I thought it would be just a matter of waiting until the helpline opened at 9 and letting them know of the error. After a couple of attempts at calling and seemingly being disconnected while on hold I finally got through at around 9:30 and was told it was too late to change the address and I’d have to contact Aus Post myself to arrange redirection. The person on the line also informed me that address changes made in the app won’t be recorded (oh! Good to know NOW) and I should’ve done it on the website. Turns out it was Couriers Please who would be making the delivery and they informed me (this morning when I was able to get through to them after a failed attempt yesterdaY) that they were unable to do anything without a new consignment number being generated by the sender (ie. Catch). I then received a photo of my product sitting on my old doorstep which is an hour from where I currently live. Customer service told me the only thing to be done was for me to drive to the house and get my parcel from these strangers. I was emailing with customer care every step of the way and receiving no response or assistance while this was going on. I’ve now requested that it be escalated to a supervisor and am awaiting this call, but honestly, I’d rather have my money back and buy from an outlet with actual customer care at this point. I used to love Catch.com and it was one of my first stops for online shopping but obviously this stinks.

Bought one shirt from Catch.com.au recently and my experience was fantastic. I liked the service, quick and prompt delivery and the product reached me in perfectly good shape. I will not hesitate to buy more online through catch.com.au and will recommend anyone to use its service confidently.

Incompetent and Dishonest, Customer services is the lie department.

Incompetent and Dishonest. Waiting 10 days for return slip I was promised before I ordered the more expensive disc ps5. I was told I would get a return slip in a couple of days instead the worlds most moronic business demanded a security seal photo, When they send out the ps5 with no security seal. I have been out of $650 a week longer then I should, Lied to futher by the dishonest customer support it would be handled last week , the same as they lied to me in the first placce. They also claimed they would clearly note I was exchanging for a higher cost model and the lieing simpletons just wrote "Customer wants refund" instead. So here you go Wesfarmers, I spend 10k a year at bunnings. Not kidding. None now, Not a cent. You just lost 10k a year revenue, It's going to Mitre10, Stratco, Total tools and Adelaide tools. If anyone is unhappy with this piece of crap dishonest fraudulent business just stop buying anything from Bunnings or other Wesfarmers businesses... EZ. VISA chargeback coming next week if they continue to behave fraudulently. I have call recordings. You will lose.

I brought a “poly/cotton” quilt cover…

I brought a “poly/cotton” quilt cover for my 3 years old bed. When it arrived the packaging stated it was 100% polyester of which if it had have been advertised correctly on the catch, I would NEVER have brought. Unfortunately the quilt was opened and washed by granny before I realised. It is absolutely useless and unusable on my little girls bed as the inner just slides and bunches up at the bottom. What a waste of $40.

Terrible delays are normal business here

They sell you items from partners that can take 10 business days to send and a further 10 business days to arrive. My advice - screen shot the sale and take it a shop to price match.

Good luck getting a refund!!!

Be careful with this company. I have received a damaged pair of Birkenstocks, bleach stains all over them. Catch has insinuated that I caused the damage and offered a 25% refund!!! The shoes are unwearable. I am getting nowhere dealing with them. Just be careful and remember you get what you pay for!!!

These guys went out of their way to ensure I was ordering the correct size. I have ordered belts online previously, and have always ended up with a belt that is too big. Not this time. Excellent quality as well. I will buy again from this supplier.
