My care has been excellent and I am currently 1 year on and have no regrets or problems!

three years ago I was lucky enough to have Mr Maurino as my consultant at the time my prescription was nearly +10 in both eyes after surgery if I remember I was 6/7.5 in one eye 6/12 in the other, today thanks to Mr Maurino and his team my latest eye exam came out 6/6 or in old money 20/20 in both eyes they had actually improved over the last 3 yrs I can't put in to words how thankful and grateful i am to Mr Maurino and his team they have changed my life dramatically I will be forever in their debt.

Deciding to do laser is not an easy decision especially given the cost and/or risks involved. You want to go to someone who is trustworthy and I can honestly say the entire team is very professional and knowledgeable. The eye testing was very thorough and continues to be post-procedure. The only thing I will say is that I would have preferred someone talk me through each step of the process throughout the operation as it was a bit traumatic wondering if all of this was normal. The procedure was successful, but it takes time for your eyes to adjust. It's been 3 months now and I do not have 20/20 vision (only about .15 off), but I would say that's down to my brain, and how it is adapting to the change. Some days I see in HD, and others, it's a bit blurrier when not fully lubricated or I'm stressed. So just something to bear in mind when thinking about getting laser. Recovery time was minimal, and my eyesight was normal straight away. I also really appreciate the team seeing me more than necessary to make sure I felt comfortable with everything. I'd say expect longer wait times.

Mr Vincenso Maurino carried out the cataract operation on my wife ,Wendy and I were extremely impressed with the way he dealt with the operation.Not only was the operation a great success but MR.MAURINO took the trouble to thoroughly brief my wife before and after the operation as to what was involved We were also happy with the service provided by Moorfields Ray Pettitt

I'd heard that Moorfields was the best in the country for eye surgeries so I was extremely satisfied with my care. Mr Maurino explained to me clearly what to expect before and after the ICL surgery. The aftercare was very efficient as well, with the nurses explaining to me how and when to use my eye drops after the surgery. They made regular free consultations over the next few months to make sure my eyes were adjusting well. I can proudly say that my vision now is practically perfect and nothing I didn't expect has happened.

Really excellent experience. I couldn't be more delighted with the outcome. The explanations, service and care that I have received from Mr Maurino and all the team at Moorfields has been second to none.
