Mr Maurino did a great job. I'm pleased with the result. I came to see Mr Maurino because I had a Cataract forming in my R eye. I already had it in my mind to have a Bilateral Lens Replacement, he explained the procedure and highlighted the very small risks v benefit. It's so great to see everyday things clearly without glasses. If you have the procedure done I'm confident you won't regret it.

From the initial consultation to the procedure and the check ups, every time I had an appointment I was dealt with very professionally and felt very well looked after. I was -2.50 short sighted and have now got perfect vision, I’m very happy with the results! I have been told I can come back any time if I have concerns or questions, I always felt very comfortable about the procedure. Thank you to all, especially Mr Maurino, for looking after me so well. The only thing I would mention needs to be improved is the communication in between appointments, my surgery was cancelled but it took me calling back to find out and organise a new date - additionally I had to make contact and request a booking for my 3 month check up, when I would have expected the team to take the initiative to organise that with me. But overall i am extremely happy with the results.

I had eye surgery in July 2016 carried out by Mr Maurino, Moorfield private eye surgeon. I was so nervous when I realised that you have to remain awake and still for the surgery. Mr Maurino was able to reassure me keeping me calm and talked me through each stage of tge procedure. As expected the surgery wrnt well. To be able to see again without glasses was amazing, it really transformed my life. He offers a free two year follow up. I just had a follow up with Mr Maurino and my sight is still good.

Mr Maurino has now performed cataract surgery on both my eyes followed by YAG Laser Capsulotomies. I have other long standing health problems with my eyes so these operations carry extra risk for me and therefore it was critical that I use the very best surgeon. I found Mr Maurino to be exceptional and after my 4 procedures (all without complications) I now have the best sight of my whole life. Mr Maurino and his whole team were fantastic, putting me at ease and explaining the procedures in detail so i knew what to expect. Due to my other health issues, Mr Maurino took time to perform additional pre and post operative checks. I am hugely grateful to Mr Maurino and his team for their skill and care.

I had known for years that I needed a cataract operation in my left eye but I kept delaying it as I was terrified at the thought. I am particularly squeamish, almost phobic, whenever any invasive medical procedure is concerned but eyes probably top the list. I needed to find an ophtalmic surgeon not only technically very able but who would also understand my fears and show great patience and understanding (in my experience these qualities don’t always live together in doctors of any kind). I was about to go to Italy where I had some good recommendation (on both counts of technical ability and ‘bedside manners’, if I can call it like that) when I discovered by chance Mr Maurino at Moorfields. I did read all I could find about him online obviously but it was only when I met him for a preliminary examination that I decided to have the operation with him. Apart from the obvious technical expertise and ability, his approach to patients seemed warm and friendly, he inspired confidence. He appeared to tick all the boxes. And I was right, the operation went very well and was much less traumatic than I feared. And his team, at least the ones I met, are very friendly and pleasant and make you feel at ease in circumstances when you are naturally very tense. I would definitively recommend him and his team if you need a cataract operation.

I was made to feel very comfortable before, during and after surgery. The service and aftercare from all involved was great.

I cannot recommend Mr. Maurino and his team enough. After a very tumultuous experience with the NHS in Wales we had to look to the private route and through investigation and recommendations we found ourselves at Mr.Maurinos clinic in Moorfields. Thank goodness As a mum of a child with severe Keratoconus we will be for ever indebted to Vincenzo’s cross linking My son had the procedure on both eyes at the same time and the after care was second to none Thank you everyone for all your support ( Ana and Sue )

Relaxing and pain free procedure. Well worth travelling to London

I had a consultation with Mr Maurino with a very painful cornia, he immediately eased the pain by placing a bandage lense on my eye and proscribing eye drops. 6 weeks later I had a cornia transplant operation, within 2 days I could tell my vision was better, it has now been 6 weeks since my operation my eye is totally comfortable and my vision is the best it has been for years. The staff, aftercare, and professional running of moorfield is first class.
