Arendal customer service quickly shipped a replacement speaker to me after one was delivered very damaged. They answered queries very quickly. Would definitely order from them again

Gunnar gave great service and answered all my questions about shipping to Thailand. Unfortunately his great answers led me to understand I could not in good conscience buy these speakers that I really wanted. Arendal designs in Norway, and manufactures in China, right next to my home in Thailand. They don’t ship to Asia direct from China. They ship containers to EUROPE and the US and then want to charge me (and every other client in Asia) more than $300 PLUS potential customs duties! To send the speakers halfway around the globe BACK to where they were made! Yikes! Neither economical nor green! Both China and Thailand are within the ASEAN free economic zone. If Arendal simply set up shipping for all of Asia out of China, no duties, no huge shipping charges, and the planet would say thanks. Nice speakers. Can’t buy them. Get it together Arendal. Lots of rich audiophiles here. Update Post Reply: I bought Q Acoustics Concept 50’s. Pretty much the same price as in the US, if not a bit cheaper. Because they are made in China too. It is not that hard. A couple hundred bucks for a tiny warehouse next to your manufacture, and like $700 bucks a month for a Chinese guy to ship things within a DUTY FREE ECONOMIC COOPERATION ZONE with CHEAP SHIPPING! You are whistling past massive wealth. You missed my money. I am good for 20 years now speaker wise. FIRE YOUR LOGISTICS PEOPLE. They are useless. I see you spent big bucks marketing with Randy at Cheap Audio Man, Erin etc…and you completely arsed it on more than a third of the planet. I will never hear an Arendal Speaker. Because you muffed it. Big time.

Great discount on the 1961 towers. Delivery was much faster than I thought. Communication was constant throughout the entire process. And the sound quality of the speakers is like nothing I have ever experienced. These speakers made me cry when I got them dialed in. It's like hearing music for the first time. Highly recommend Arendal, I wish I could afford the 1723 towers. Maybe some day!!!
