Shipment was expeditious, well packed for safe transportation. All fees and documents handled by the company, product itself immaculate and price to quality ratio does not get any better!

Their speakers sound great even before the 50 hour burn in time. Very happy with their customer service; however not happy with their chosen courier service. DHL Express what a joke. It took 11 days to get to me in Canada; whereas my Denafrips DAC from China took just 3 days from when I placed the order and received it in my hand.
Another All promises, and no more
Arendal CEO was on youtube claiming customer satisfaction is paramount to them. What a joke! Maybe underpaid disgruntled employees , secretly sabotaging the company? Dec 26: $2,049 order placed. Jan 8 : DHL holds shipment for non-payment of shipping fees by Arendal. Jan 9: I asked Arendal to please investigate the hold. Jan 9: I was told "DHL has released the shipment" (not true) . Hold still in effect. Jan 16: Customer Service told me "DHLhas cleared the shipment" (again not true) Jan 17: I called DHL who told me they had no response from Arendal about paying the outstanding fees since Jan 12! Jan 18: Arendal agreed I could pay the fees and promised to reimburse my VISA after receiving proof of my having paid the fees. Jan 19: I paid the fees. Hold instantly released. I emailed the proof of payment to Arendal. Jan 23: Still no refund. Emailed them to remind them of their promise to reimburse me as promised. Jan 23: Got email "will have refund to you tomorrow for sure". (another bold lie) Jan 25: Still no refund. Now I have to initiate a credit card dispute with my bank. (more hassles) Stay away from this outfit. They don't deserve new business and nobody needs this kind of shabby treatment.

Exceptional Customer Service!
For several months I have been searching for new speakers to upgrade my home theater and music system. Arendal Sound caught my attention because they have very good reviews, are highly regarded, and appear to make a quality product. I am very picky about my audio, and even though I had never heard of the company I decided to give them a closer look. I'm glad that I did. I have contacted them several times over the last few days with a ton of questions. Not only did they take the time to answer my questions, but they paid close attention to details in their replies, and seemed genuinely interested in helping me out. I was pleasantly surprised. Their customer service is exceptional. I expect to be making a purchase in the coming weeks. If you're in the market for audio speakers, I would encourage you to give them serious consideration.

After several glowing YouTube reviews I was obsessed with the 1723 THX speakers. They were a bit more than I wanted to spend but then I discovered the 1961 series on sale for $1260. Also excellent reviews. Once I got them they didn’t sound great. I didn’t factor in my medium-large living room with vaulted ceilings and tile floors. On the plus side they are gorgeous to look at and even my wife likes the small form factor. I think they will need a good subwoofer to sound their best in our living area.
