Just purchased a skywatcher 250p classic from the company. Excellent service, polite informative and just good overall product and service and price. The telescope was sent to the Scottish Highlands nay bother, as some companies don't send up here, but the company did and exactly when they said and DPD got it here exactly on time and cheaply.

I needed a telescope for my son's birthday and was not able to get to the store, I'd missed the cut off point for next day delivery and thought I might not be able to get the telescope my son wanted. The kind staff at Rother valley optics helped me to get an order in and went out of there way to get the order ready and on the van for next day delivery. They were very helpful and supportive and I'll be buying all my future stargazing equipment from them in the future instead of the big electrical store I usually buy from. I needed a new EQ2 mount and was recommened Rother Valley. I spoke to gentleman whose name i didnt get,he he was very knowledgable. He checked to see if OVL had one in stock he took my order told me it would arrive today 14th August,which it did well within the timescale,it took all of 5 mins to order. Cracking service i would definately return if i needed anything else 👍👍

I rang rother valley optics desperate for a part for my heq5 tripod I couldn't get the part anywhere but one phone call to Adam from rv optics and he got me the part ordered within minutes and it was also next day delivery outstanding service I cannot recommend this supplier enough and I definitely will be using them again. I popped into the Store on a Saturday, and spoke to Adam with regards to the Smart Telescopes I was interested and took his advice on board and as the product was out of stock, and they where awaiting a delivery, my details where taken, on Tuesday as promised he called back and one was put aside for me, When I collected the staff in store couldnt have been more friendlier as Adam wasnt available helping to complete the purchase.. Just waiting to play with the new scope.. when the clouds disappear.. All in all an excellent customer experience and one happy astronomer...

I contacted this company with some queries. They were very quick to respond, so helpful. Told me the item I wanted was in stock. So, I moved some money around, then ordered my Seestar S50. Expert advice and super fast delivery!!! I'd looked everywhere for a solar filter for my Celestron SE 4. Celestron said they didn't make one!!! but recommended Rother Valley as a provider!! Rother Valley found me adjustable filter to fit!!! Now I can view the sun safely!! Thank you!!
