Toyota insurance services wrote to me saying that my policy would automatically renew later in the month. By an unfortunate coincidence I was on holiday on the renewal date with no phone coverage, no email. I came home 5 days after the renewal date to find a letter waiting for me telling me that I was no longer insured. Apparently they didn't have my card details on file, so they couldn't renew, so why send the first letter telling me that the policy would automatically renew. I've driven around for 5 days without insurance.
