Been with this company for a year. Wouldn't recommend. The company they deal with for windscreen claims is appalling. 2 week wait for a windscreen replacement. That's my car off the road for 2 weeks now. Reported to Toyota insurances and they didn't offer any help at all. Won't be using again.

This insurance is pure joke . Despite having legal cover - did not provide us with access Accepted the third party claim without investigating - as they know it’s customer who wil pay more next time renewal is up . They should be forced to close their shop in the uk . Absolute disgrace . They have the audacity to tell me - go to financial ombudsman - WE DONT REALLY CARE - In my 20 years of driving experience I haven’t seen anyone like these guys

This is the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. I went with them because they were cheaper. Aggressive emails threatening to cancel insurance unless you send documentary evidence of everything within 7 days. Final straw was the not accepting I had owned the car since new as there was a change of keeper on the V5 when I settled finance. This resulted in a massive hike. Now starting the complaints procedure. I just wish I had chosen a proper insurance company. Avoid at all costs.

Drove my new Car for 4 months without insurance when I thought I had one
I got a new Toyota SUV in May this year and decided to make use of their Insurance because I found it not as expensive as other providers. This guys asked me about my NCB certificate during the process of filling the form and I told them I had it. According to them, they requested for an evidence by post but I did not see any letter from them. I could not believe that this wicked people took off my vehicle insurance in June and I did not realise until September so I literally had no vehicle insurance on my brand new Toyota Yaris Cross 2023 for four months. I tried to reach them and was told because all their effort to reach me regarding the NCB was in vain so they had to take off the insurance after 1 month. This people did not write me any email neither did they call me, which was the fastest and easiest way to reach me. all my transaction with them was by email and I'm wondering, why post me a letter. My life was at risk for 4 months, What if there has been an accident? What if I had to make a claim? what if???... I have taken this car to several long journeys, what if Police had stopped me? What if I've been fined a huge amount of money? These guys are not reliable at all. They are so ridiculously useless. Please don't use them, they will put your at the risk of Danger.

Unjust 'red flag' against my name I'm wondering if anyone else is having the same problem as me. Despite promptly paying for a policy with this company, I received no confirmation email or access to policy documents. The website's login portal required an account that I was never given the chance to set up, leaving me in the dark. After stumbling upon these concerning reviews online, I grew skeptical. This led me to contact my bank for a refund, which was promptly processed. Turns out they are a legitimate company and have now put a 'red flag marker' against my name for voiding the policy due to non-payment. My current insurance company are now saying they will not continue to insure me unless this marker is taken off. Toyota are refusing to take the marker off, stating that i had many chances to cancel my insurance, and that their cancellation policy is outlined in the policy documents (which I obviously never received). I'm struggling to see how I could have even cancelled a policy I had no proof of getting and feel like I'm being penalised for being cautious about a company that seriously looks like a scam. Would encourage anyone else in this position to leave their feedback on here, as it might help us all to build a case and get the marker taken off. If the marker stays there, it will always be a struggle finding car insurance and I suspect it will be costly. Annoyed that I didn't check Trust Pilot first! But it was Money Supermarket that referred me to Toyota, so assumed they'd be ok. They may be legitimate but I have serious concerns with their company conduct.

Via Online compression web site.. Found a very good quote for my new renewal on my car. Website unable to complete the application, so rang them to follow through, adviser was politely said she was having system issues..and was unable to find my quote on there system???? Asked for my name more than 4 times?? I felt they were lost in the woods, and lost the ability to go any further with them. Politely said I would try somewhere else as life is too short!!! Terrible reviews on them, maybe it was for the best… shocking as not what I expected from Toyota.. terrible.

Wish I had read the reviews , prior to engaging with these fraudsters! Shocking customer service and put quotation price up by a further £150 , claiming purchase date was incorrect? Also tried to get out of my 11 years no claims bonus , despite emailing them the proof from my previous insurance company. I decided not to continue with purchase and stuck with my current insurance company.

Rude and aggressive insurance company
This insurance company are liars and cheats. They claimed there was a fault on my insurance and put my premium up. They sent me aggressive emails and a letter threatening me. Toyota Insurance are and absolute disgrace with totally ineffective and poorly trained staff who did not know how to manage this situation. I proved them wrong, made a formal complaint and have raised this with the Ombudsman. The case is being investigated.
