The storm guards fit my coup perfectly. Just in time for winter.

Neither my husband nor I have any building skills. I would give the directions on the Model 2 XL a 98 out of 100, and their customer service a 100. I would suggest including the part numbers with the descriptions. This was not the case in later steps. I would also ensure that pre-drilled holes were in all the places the directions indicated. A minor issue, but helpful. I did not expect a call back on a Saturday with my one question, but minutes after leaving a voice mail, Kevin called back and provided clarification. He was terrific! He also followed up with us a few days later to ensure we were able to complete the assembly. We are hoping this is the last coop we will have to purchase, as winters in New England can be harsh. First impressions on this company are quite impressive. I would buy again.

Very well packaged and arrived faster than expected. Easy to assemble with instructions and some references to the YouTube video. High quality materials, sturdy wire and hardware. Nicely packaged fasteners with plenty extra for drops into the leaves. Hens are cozy and dry!

The weather panels have been amazing. My girls are all tucked in for the winter.

The products this company makes are excellent. Easy to assemble. Well packed for transport. I have purchased two chicken coops and runs from them. Have tried other coops but nothing compares to the quality of these coops.

5 stars! I hate the expression "You get what you pay for...", as it implies you always receive quality if you pay more, but in this case its true! . Roost and Root was not the cheapest coop we considered, but it was well worth every cent we paid. The coop shipped on time, arrived in good condition, assembly instructions were detailed and well documented. The coop itself is well designed, the wood solid and strong. We've had it up for a month now, and the more we use it the more we realize how well designed it is. Feed, water and cleaning are easy, the coop is solid and secure so the flock is safe (we have a lot of predators here), plenty of shade and fresh air, lots of roosting room for the hens. We and the flock are very happy.

We have our coop now for 10 years and still solid!! Just needed new weather panels! 😁

Gave me a tour of the facility when i came to pick up my greenhouse. They even added an additional wind reinforcement at no cost after hearing that we regularly get 50mph winds at our property. The greenhouse was easy to assemble (but 2 people required). We are very satisfied.

We are very pleased with the coop. Everything from the way it was shipped, to the detailed instructions to the quality of materials is excellent. Our chickens are much happier and healthier with the new coop.
