I purchased a coop 2nd hand and wanted to add a few upgrades. It was not a hassle to do so. Also the quality of the coop is amazing! ! Much better than the cheap ones my friends purchased from other companies.

The coop was built very quickly, it comes with very detailed instructions and everything you might need. Delivery was a breeze.

It took a considerable time to get the item into your inventory but you did give me an extra piece. Item was ordered on 4/7 and delivered on 4/18. Had to call and was informed that they would be receiving inventory and would ship out immediately. Once they received their inventory I received the items within a few days

Customer service is the best in this day and age! Most companies today do not know the meaning of the word. They do, before, during and after the sale! My hat is off.

Super fast efficient shipping, quality and quantity of parts, ease of assembly were all positives. Since my review the coop was hit by straight line winds that took down many trees. The chickens stayed safe in the egg box, the coop was secured with the supplied equipment. Straight line winds at 70-80mph not damage or tear the roof of the coop. So well done R&R! Thank you!

I bought the Roost and Root Starter XL chicken coop. I added the waterer and feeder. These features and this coop make chicken keeping an absolute joy. I cannot overstate how helpful the waterer and feeder are. Since the chickens have to reach up to get the waterer, they don’t poop all over their water. My three chickens learned how to use the waterer very easily. The coop is also easy to clean which is very important to me. Solid construction. Seems like a very sturdy and high quality product. It took my husband 3 hours to build it with “help” from our three small children.

All in all, it was a great Experience had some issues in the beginning my feeder and water system was damaged and the name on the chicken coop wasn’t correct I gave them a call and Courtney helped me out with all my issues and resolved them right away. The chicken coop is great quality. I will give a Review on trustpilot a few months from now and talk about how the chicken coop is holding up. thank Courtney for the help much appreciated.

I ordered my coop through Roost & Root because it was a family business here in the USA & because they used my favorite wood, cedar. The coops are unique in design & that too caught my eye. I’m in my late 60’s & I was able to seal the wood & build it all by myself. I would say my only challenge was leveling & squaring the bottom frame. Once I got that tackled it was smooth sailing. I love my coop & so do my girls! The folks at Roost & Root were very helpful in helping me choose the extras needed for my location. The coop came in several boxes & I was actually amazed that they gave you everything needed as for screws & hardware neatly packed in their own segmented container!!! Everyone that sees the coop is amazed at how pretty it is! I highly recommend Roost & Root coops for the quality of their product & their customer service!
