If I could give this company no stars I would! I made it clear that I was a brand new business and needed a lot of assistance with compliance. I have been able to schedule a handful of (30 minute) phone calls with them and still don't recieve the help I need. I paid $2,800 for a service and have had to figure it out myself. I was scheduled for a call today, nd cancelled last minute and now am unsure when I'll be able to have another appointment. This is incredibly frustrating!

Thank you all for making this process much easier than expected. yes, you would need to put in a little work to provide them with your tax data ( business and personal) but generally the process is smooth after that is done. There is also someone at hand to answer your queries and with my allocated Tax Adviser and Tax accountant and Admin, I always have someone to ask the questions and to address my concerns. I am very pleased so far and long may this continue. My business tax return for 2024 is now filed as I understand it. Thank you Tao C, and Farah Aerielle R and Q. You did a greater professional job

The positive reviews left on this site about 1-800-Accountant are FAKE (notice how they are all very similar?) The one thing these people do do well is trying to squelch the negative reviews that do get through with empty promises and gushy platitudes and apologies. 1 800 Acountant is one hot mess and will do anything to cover their tracks. They are HORRIBLE in all aspects of a responsible accounting firm. Their "accountants" are laughable, their "communication portal" is confusing and full of third party advertising, no one returned e-mails (forget calling them. They either wont answer or if they do, will "Have someone get back to you" FAT CHANCE!) We did our research and the ratings for 1-800-Accountant were pretty bad. The salesman was very slick though. He blamed all the negativity on Covid and said that they hired all new people and those problems were a thing of the past. BUNK! We paid $3,100 to get set up with them. They have a 30 day money-back guarantee (ha, ha). "30 days" is laughable - especially when your first meeting with an accountant is weeks after you pay. We were assigned some neophyte out of trade school who had less accounting experience than we did. They screwed things up so badly and were so errant on communication that we missed the filing deadline (on top of that, the filing still had errors and cost us an additional $1,120 in IRS and state penalties & interest). We filed complaints with the BBB but they just kept dragging it out with apology after apology with no intention of ever resolving the issues. Don't repeat the same mistake we made, look elsewhere.
