In the last year I did 100% of the work 1800-Accountants should have done on my own. On top of doing all their work I then had to keep my own mileage log, income statement, deductions, bank balances and more. They also tried to charge me 2 separate times for taxes THEY DIDNT DO OR EVEN FILE. I am no accountant wiz or expert. In fact I'm 27 and new to entrepreneurship/freelancing. But with a few hours learning on your own you will save 10's of hours, thousands of dollars and not want to throw your computer and phone off a cliff due to the inability of their employees and software. I highly recommend using anyone but 1800 accountants. Your half dead house plant would be more capable. _______________________ Thank you for looking into the issues. Michael was patient and informative. The company has some poor reviews and the program is expensive for my starting business. Michael did an excellent job justifying value and had the company not had some poor reviews I may have gone with them.

Michele is on top of everything, classifies in a timely manner, provides detailed reporting on a regular basis, and is responsive to all our portal correspondence! Also, we appreciate our monthly phone calls where, together, we discuss and close out our month so that our records are always in order and current! Know we are in good hands with Michele’s support of our account financials!

I read most of these glowing reviews prior to signing up with 1800Account on December 20, 2024. Run from this company. The sale rep (Bradley Dickerson) made statements and promises that various deadlines could be met, had me file changes to the business, with the state and then their company did not live up to the stated promises. Two "Advisory / Setup" calls were a waste of time: The first call the rep didn't know anything about what was supposed to be taking place. The second call was brief with the rep stating that she didn't think it was possible to meet the deadlines that were laid out when I signed up. She said she would speak with her lead and message me in a couple hours. That was four days ago...still no response. Not only did 1800Accountant waste two weeks of my time, they created a state compliance issue for my company.

Payroll-specific rating. I have tax, tax advising and payroll services with 1800Accountant and gave my Accounting Advisor 5 stars - she is amazing, but I'm very sorry I let that good experience lead me to move payroll to 1800Accountant. I have a significant issue that I've been trying to get an answer on with literally no response and no way to contact Payroll directly. My payroll representative is non-responsive and when I raise tickets with the 1800Accountant help desk they can only say, "it has been escalated to payroll management but we can't put you in touch with them or anyone directly." Then it goes into a black hole. This started November 15th to meet a deadline of December 31, and since December 22 there has been ZERO acknowledgement of progress and/or status. I would give them one star but I feel bad doing that because of my other experience with my tax advisor / other services. If you need a responsive payroll company, I would not recommend 1800Accountant.
